Elizabeth 'Bibby' Bandy
Elizabeth "Bibby" Bandy, 83, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 6, 1918, in Branchville, Texas. A resident for 51 years, she was a homemaker, a member of the Mesquite Club, Salvation Army and St. Jude's Ranch for Children.
She is survived by one son, Jim Bandy Jr. of Henderson; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 6-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Eastern.
John Stephen Banschback
John Stephen Banschback, 39, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born April 4, 1963, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 30 years, he was a chef at the MGM Grand since it opened in 1994 and attended culinary school in Portland, Ore.
He is survived by his ex-wife, Crystal Banschback of Henderson; one son, Cody Banschback, his parents, John and Diane Banschback, two brothers, Craig Banschback and Curt Banschback, and one sister, Erika Banschback, all of Las Vegas.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
Martha Arnetta Barcelona
Martha Arnetta Barcelona, 87, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born July 27, 1914, in Moundsville, W.Va. A resident for several years, she was an employee at a toy company for 27 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Martha Anne Pyles of Moundsville and Ruey Zeigler of Las Vegas; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Stanley Leo Beans, 55, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 5, 1946, in East St. Louis, Ill. A resident for 23 years, he was a supermarket cleaning supervisor and a member of the Boulder City Lions Club.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon K.; two daughters, Karen Beans of Florida and Kim Skibinski of Henderson; two sons, Gary Beans of Millington, Tenn., and Michael Beans of Bullhead City, Ariz.; one brother, William Kramer of Belleville, Ill.; and 11 grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Richard Capko and Kenneth A. Capko; one daughter, Linda M. Zeitler; one brother, Stephen Yurko; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She is survived by two sisters, Jean B. Mielbeck of Danville, Calif., and Shirley Altschuller of Las Vegas; and one brother, Robert Anderson of Van Nuys, Calif.

She is survived by one daughter, Sylvia Levin of Las Vegas; one son, Reginald Franklin of Los Angeles; three sisters, Yvonne Jones of Arizona and Nora McClester and Jean Marshall, both of Los Angeles; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He is survived by two daughters, Teresa Cracchiola of Las Vegas and Velma Gross of Tucson; two sons, Jose Gamboa Jr. of Phoenix and Abel Gamboa of Las Vegas; four sisters, Frances Broadhead and Gila Higgins, both of San Diego, Petra Barboza of Norwalk, Calif., and Andrea Riley of Houston; one brother, Miguel Gamboa of San Diego; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Thomas G. Guthrie, 72, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born March 21, 1930, in Ravenna, Ohio. A resident for seven years, he was a national sales manager for a winery and a retired Air Force major.
He is survived by his wife, Merriann; one daughter, Julia Guthrie of Las Vegas; one son, Thomas Guthrie II; and two grandchildren.
