StumbleCandidate for governor withdraws

John Meyers, a Democratic candidate for governor, withdrew from the race today, citing health problems.
Meyers, 49, of Las Vegas said he will undergo surgery that was not expected when he filed his candidacy on May 13. He said that will consume too much of his time.
"I had some good issues, but I didn't expect to win," Meyers said.
