Board member resigns

Friday, May 24, 2002 | 11:08 a.m.

Andrew Tottenham has resigned from the board of directors of gaming machine maker Innovative Gaming Corp. of America, citing the company's shift in focus away from the European market and a potential conflict of interest between his current employer, Harrods Online, and Innovative Gaming's announced merger partner, GET USA Inc.

Tottenham, who joined the board of Innovative Gaming in 2001, lives in London.

"Andrew will be missed at the company," Tom Foley, Innovative Gaming's chairman and chief executive, said. "His input and guidance were always appreciated by management and the board."

Las Vegas-based Innovative Gaming develops, manufactures and distributes gaming machines. The company posted a loss of $1.35 million for the quarter ended March 31 and has reported a negative cash flow from operations for the past three years. A new management team is predicting a turnaround this year.
