NEVADA DIVISION OF WILDLIFE
Fishing continues to be good for striped bass in the Overton Arm and fair in the Boulder Basin at Lake Mead.
Boaters who have been fishing recently in the Boulder Basin have had some success at Black Island, Sand Island and the tires outside of the Las Vegas Bay Marina. Anglers have been chumming with anchovies and then fishing with the bait to catch the fish.
The fishing in the Overton Arm has been fair for shore anglers who are catching stripers from the beach north of the Overton Beach Marina. Fish Island has been productive as well. Channel catfish are being caught in shallow water in the Virgin Bowl.
