Dinner spotlights Philippine culture
The Ilocano American Association of Nevada will hold its annual Filipiniana Affair dinner-ball at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Palace Station to promote the Philippine culture.

Tee it up for school students
The Clark County Public Education Foundation's second annual "Tee Up For Kids" charity golf tournament will begin with registration at 6:30 a.m., followed by the shotgun scramble at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday at Rhodes Ranch Golf Club.
The event will benefit the area's public school children through a variety of programs and scholarships offered by the foundation.
Individual spots are $250. All donations are tax-deductible. For registration forms or more information, call 799-1042.
Coins, stamps, etc. will be on display
The International Coin, Currency, Stamp, Jewelry & Collection Expo will be held from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Tropicana hotel.
The expo will feature coin, currency, stamp and jewelry dealers displaying a variety of investment grade and collector quality merchandise. Collectibles will be available for viewing and purchase. Free appraisals will be given during the show.
The event will also offer free coins and stamps to children under 12, free magazines, free advice on how to collect stamps and coins, and door prizes every 30 minutes.
