Robert Paul Braner Sr.

Robert Paul Braner Sr., 79, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local health care center. He was born Dec. 18, 1922, in Concord, Ill. A resident for 43 years, he was a retired Air Force major, a World War II, Korean War and Vietnam war veteran, a member of the Masons, Nellis Lodge and Zelzah Shrine Temple.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; three daughters, Vicki Homm and Dawn Workman, both of Las Vegas, and Becky Livingston of Jackson, N.J.; one son, Terry Braner of Camp Verde, Ariz.; five sisters, Frances Custer of Summer Field, Fla., Ellen Arnold of Victorville, Calif.; Marie Paul of Arenzville, Ill., Katherine Huffman of Virginia, Ill., and Fredricka Paul of Apple Valley, Calif.; one brother, Dean Brander of Summer Field; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 30 minutes prior to a 10:30 a.m. service Wednesday in the First Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 301 S. Maryland Parkway. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

The family suggests donations to Alzheimer's Association, Southern Nevada Chapter, 5190 S. Valley View Blvd., Suite 101, Las Vegas, NV 89118.

Myla Lorraine Bratton

Myla Lorraine Bratton, 83, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 18, 1919, in Henry County, Iowa. A resident for 25 years, she was a member of Eastern Star 49 in Las Vegas.

She is survived by four sister, Cynthia Franks of Westminster, Calif., Bessie Corder of Muskentine, Iowa, Dorothy Hauser of Hot Springs, Ark., and Inez Pryor of Clinton, Iowa.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Wednesday with services following at 7:30 p.m. in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Anthony C. Bruno

Anthony C. Bruno, 85, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 17, 1917, in Union City, N.J. A resident for 48 years, he was a musician.

He is survived by his wife, Vera L.; two sons, Robert Bruno of Warwick, N.Y., and Lawrence Bruno of Long Beach, Calif.; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling private arrangements.

Jeanette V. Burford

Jeanette V. Burford, 80, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 9, 1921, in Colorado. A resident for 15 years, she was a retired aircraft inspector.

She is survived by two sons, Paul Thomas Burford and William Lee Fawcett, both of Texas; one daughter, Linda Sue Samuels of California; and seven grandchildren.

Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private family services.

Leon D. Ealy

Leon D. Ealy, 15, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 6, 1986, in Las Vegas. A resident for six months, he was a student.

He is survived by his father, Leon Brown, and his mother and stepfather, Pauline and Reuben Johnson, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Robert Johnson of San Diego; three sisters, Eliska Hartz of Las Vegas, Essie Yazzie of New Mexico and Elizabeth Johnson of San Diego; his two grandmothers, Essie Newell of Mississippi and Viola Marshall of Louisiana; and his step-grandparents, Ruben and Birta Johnson of San Diego.

Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Tuesday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Calvary Southern Baptist Church, 1600 E. Cartier Ave. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Selma Gallagher

Selma Gallagher, 75, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 3, 1926, in New York City. A resident for many years, she was a real estate agent and a member of the Govenesky Society in New York City.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene; one son, Howard Blair of New York; three brothers, Daniel Figarsky of Worcester, Mass., Arthur Figarsky of Mayfield, N.Y., and David Fegarsky of Ormond Beach, Fla.; and two grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Huntington, N.Y. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Darrell E. Klingsheim

Darrell E. Klingsheim, 69, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 16, 1933, in Cresco, Iowa. A resident for two years, he was a motel owner-operator.

He is survived by his wife, Elvira; one daughter, Julie Ann Klingsheim, and three stepsons, Khristian Rulona, Kristopher Rulona and Elbert Rulona, all of North Las Vegas; two brothers, Gilbert Klingsheim of Graettinger, Iowa, and Melvin Klingsheim of Hopkins, Minn.; and one sister, Elnora Dresselhaus of San Diego.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne. Burial will be follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 5701 N. Jones Blvd.

Florence Lillian Lynch

Florence Lillian Lynch, 68, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born July 4, 1933, in the Bronx, N.Y.

She is survived by one son, Arthur Lynch of Denver; one daughter, Denise Lynch of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Bertha Morales

Bertha Morales, 65, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born in Mexico. A resident for one year, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Jose Guerrero, Dolores Ferrer, Maria Socorro Rodriguez and Maria Veronica Guerrero, all of Las Vegas; two brothers, Francisco Morales and Julio Morales, and three sisters, Estela Palomera, Guadalupe Preciado and Magdalena Echeverria, all of Mexico; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation was scheduled noon until 2 p.m. services today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Santiago Puente

Santiago Puente, 79, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. He was born May 14, 1923, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. A resident for 25 years, he was a hotel porter.

He is survived by his wife, Amelia; one daughter, Patch Donnellan, and one son, Angel Puente, both of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-9 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 9 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Beatrice Lillian St. Sauveur

Beatrice Lillian St. Sauveur, 76, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. She was born March 4, 1926, in Massachusetts. A resident for one year, she was a retired factory worker.

She is survived by her husband, Pierre; four daughters, Ann Mary Murrin of Las Vegas, Patricia Freeman of Avon, Mass., Arlene Leonard of Middleboro, Mass., and Constance Gray of Brockton, Mass.; one brother, Albert Papillon of South Carolina; one sister, Irene Noonan of Brockton; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services were scheduled at 10 a.m. today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Cyrus N. Wells Jr.

Cyrus N. Wells Jr., 78, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. He was born Oct. 20, 1923, in Miami. A former Las Vegas resident for 26 years and most recently a Henderson resident for 10 years, he was a retired Air Force master sergeant and World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Anna; three daughters, Edie Sinclair of Las Vegas, Jane Hanson of Henderson and Lois Barr of Las Animas, Colo.; three sons, Kennett Wells of Spanish Fork, Utah, Richard Wells of Las Vegas and Dan Schwab of Greeley, Colo.; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 9 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
