The graduation ceremony for the first four-year class at the Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, is marked by a sad note with special recognition for a lost classmate.

Clark County Commissioner Erin Kenny, left, is one of the happy graduates Friday at UNLV's Artemus Ham Hall. The four-year class is a special program for part-time students.
