Mollie Y. Borak
Mollie Y. Borak, 88, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 31, 1913, in Youngstown, Ohio. A resident for 25 years, she was a homemaker, a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by one daughter, Dorothe B. Hayward of Bournemouth, England; two sons, Robert J. Borak of Campbell, Ohio, and Arthur J. Borak of Las Vegas; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling private arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Arthur Anthony Cavaluzzo
Arthur Anthony Cavaluzzo, 81, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. He was born April 22, 1921, in New York. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired engineer for a construction company, a World War II Army veteran, a member of the Italian American Club and Union Local 14-B.
He is survived by one grandchild.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private arrangements.
Gertrude Cherbo
Gertrude Cherbo, 90, of Chatsworth, Calif., died Friday in Canoga Park, Calif. She was born June 6, 1911, in New York. A former Las Vegas resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters; and 42 grandchildren.
Visitation was scheduled until 2 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., followed by graveside services in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
The family suggests donations to Alzheimer's Association, Southern Nevada Chapter, 5190 S. Valley View Blvd., Suite 101, Las Vegas, NV 89118.
Johanna Corvino
Johanna Corvino, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 24, 1924, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 19 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Charlyne Corvino of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Arthur J. Coury
Arthur J. Coury, 79, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 18, 1922, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 15 years, he was a director of gaming at a casino, a World War II Army veteran, a member of the Mission of St. Charbel, Knights of St. Maron and the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia; two sons, Ron Coury and Arthur S. Coury, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Betty Van Eyck of New Jersey; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Sunday with a 6 p.m. rosary and 10 a.m.-noon Monday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Mass will be celebrated 1 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
The family suggests donations to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Parkway, Memphis, TN 38105.
Bernice Duncan-Davis
Bernice Duncan-Davis, 54, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in North Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 26, 1947, in Elaine, Ark. A resident for eight years, she was a retired Air Force master sergeant and veteran of Desert Storm.
She is survived by her husband, Leroy Davis; two sons, Andrew N. Davis and Christopher T. Davis, both of North Las Vegas; her mother, Louise F. Duncan of Las Vegas; six sisters, Faye Duncan-Daniel, Eva Duncan-Schley, Katherine Duncan and Christine Duncan, all of Las Vegas, her twin sister, Louise Duncan-Kerr and Linda Duncan-Young, both of Boston; and four brothers, Fred Duncan Jr. of San Diego, Jerry J. Duncan of Boston, Donald R. Duncan of Helena, Mont., and Anthony Duncan of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne. Graveside services will be 1:20 p.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Terresa J. Hamrick
Terresa J. Hamrick, 44, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born June 8, 1957, in Topeka, Kan. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Phillip Neal; two sons, Christopher E. Hamrick and Travis E. Hamrick, and one daughter, Kelli J. Hamrick, all of Las Vegas; her mother, Mrs. William Suverkrubbe, and one sister, Toni J. Gilbert, both of Universal City, Texas; and one brother, William N. Suverkrubbe of Ninevah, Ind.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. services Saturday in Silverado Community Church, 3035 Post Road. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.
Margaret Mary Jasek
Margaret Mary Jasek, 79, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born March 23, 1923, in Illinois. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired secretary for an automotive company.
She is survived by one sister, Marie of Las Vegas.
Services will be private. Burial will be in Phoenix. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Nyeisha Monque Johnson
Nyeisha Monque Johnson, 17, of Las Vegas died April 18 in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 19, 1984, in San Bernardino, Calif. A resident for four years, she was a student.
She is survived by her parents, Cornelius and Marie Johnson of Las Vegas; one brother, Desmond Johnson; two sisters, Renee Cotel and Lisa Taylor; and her grandparents, Robert and Melvyna Harrison and Pearl and Gabe Johnson, all of Pomona, Calif.
Services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in True Love Missionary Baptist Church, 1941 N. H St., followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive, handled arrangements.
Alice Louise Jones
Alice Louise Jones, 94, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 23, 1908, in Boaz, Ala. A resident for many years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Marolyn McElvain of Alabama and Carolyn McElvain of Washington; one brother, Tom Wilson of Utah; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 30 minutes prior to a 1 p.m. service Saturday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.
Richard Lopez
Richard Lopez, 52, of North Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 20, 1949, in Sabinal, Texas. A resident for two years, he was a retired Air Force tech sergeant and a Vietnam War and Desert Storm veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Roxanne; one daughter, Sara Lopez of Las Vegas; and one son, David Lopez of North Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. until a 4 p.m. service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
Blair Taylor McKissick
Blair Taylor McKissick, 47, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 9, 1954, in Reno. A lifelong resident, he was a gemologist.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Barbara and Rex Jemison of Las Vegas; two brothers, Bruce McKissick of Reno and John McKissick of Cambodia; and one sister, Molly Buser of Ashland, Ore.

Alice S. Rodgers
Alice S. Rodgers, 58, of Boulder City died Tuesday in Reno. She was born Oct. 16, 1943, in Salt Lake City. A resident for 30 years, she was a retired secretary for the Bureau of Reclamation.
She is survived by two daughters, Lori Kenneston of Reno and Staci Bailey of Boulder City; one sister, Peggy Forgey of Reno; and four grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Boulder City Cemetery, 501 Adams Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Ronald A. Tan
Ronald A. Tan, 78, of Anaheim, Calif., died Monday in Anaheim. He was born April 11, 1924, in the Philippines. A former Las Vegas resident for one year, he was a retired tire salesman/executive.
He is survived by his wife, Estrella; one son, Hunter Tan, and one daughter, Charmaine Tan, both of Anaheim, Calif.; three brothers; five sisters; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne.
