Mesa Air Group, operating as America West Express, in August will add three daily round-trip flights from Las Vegas' McCarran International Airport, including new service to two cities.
The company, which is contracted as a commuter carrier for Tempe, Ariz.-based America West Airlines, will add service to Santa Barbara and Fresno, Calif. The commuter airline also will add a second daily flight to and from Colorado Springs, Colo.
The commuter will use twin-engine, 50-seat Canadair Regional Jet aircraft on the routes.
Earlier this month, America West added mainline service between Las Vegas and Salt Lake City and on May 31, daily round-trip flights from Las Vegas will begin to Raleigh-Durham, N.C., and four flights a day will be added to Mexico City.
Including the four America West Express flights, the airline, the No. 2 carrier at McCarran, will have 84 daily flights to 37 destinations by August, the airline said.
