Air Vegas Airlines, the No. 2 scenic air carrier to the Grand Canyon in Southern Nevada, is moving its base of operations from Henderson Executive Airport to North Las Vegas Airport in June.
Officials said the airline is moving prior to a two-year, $18 million renovation of the Henderson airport's runways. For now, the company is planning to return to Henderson when the work is completed in 2004.
Air Vegas, which has a fleet of 10 Beechcraft C-99 tour planes, flies more than 250 passengers a day and has 100 employees.
