Marge B. Baxter
Marge B. Baxter, 83, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born May 2, 1919, in Danville, Ill. A resident for many years, she was a waitress.

Donald E. Cheneyworth
Donald E. Cheneyworth, 66, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born March 1, 1936, in Otto, Texas. A resident for 34 years, he retired as an administrator from the Clark County School District after many years, was a veteran of the Army Reserves and a member of Bethany Masonic Lodge 21 in Shoshone, Idaho.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; and one daughter, Donna Marie Cheneyworth of Henderson.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Eastern.
Scott Edward Duffy
Scott Edward Duffy, 50, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 15, 1951, in Chillicothe, Ohio. A resident for nine months, he was a sales specialist of medical instruments, a Vietnam War Army veteran, a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his wife, Liane; and his parents, Theodore and Janetta Duffy of Chillicothe.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Chillicothe. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
William G. Gant III
William G. Gant III, 58, of Rio Rancho, N.M., died Saturday in Rio Rancho. He was born June 24, 1943, in Tennessee. A former resident of Mesquite and Las Vegas, he was a casino pit supervisor for many years and a Vietnam War Army veteran who earned three medals.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce; one daughter, Misty Gant of Mesquite; one stepdaughter, Candace Towery of Friendswood, Texas; and two brothers, Michael Gant and Robert Gant, both of Henderson.
No local services are scheduled. Rio Rancho Funeral Home, is handling arrangements.
Russell M. Haas
Russell M. Haas, 79, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. He was born Jan. 30, 1923, in Livermore, Iowa. A resident for 38 years, he was an owner-operator of an air conditioning company, a World War II Navy veteran, a member and regional president of the Refrigeration Services Engineers Society and was Man of the Year.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis A.; two daughters, Paulette Swenson and Kathleen Diaz, both of Las Vegas; two sons, Jack Haas of Humboldt, Iowa, and Robert Haas of Las Vegas; two sisters, Valeria Greene of Humboldt, and Regina Rasmussen of Ames, Iowa; two brothers, Robert Haas of Astoria, Ore., and Larry Haas of Las Vegas; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Eastern.
Eric L. Hines
Eric L. Hines, 41, of Las Vegas died Friday in North Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 30, 1960, in Carthage, Ark. A resident for 41 years, he was a laborer in the construction industry.
He is survived by two daughters, Reena Miller and Erica Hines, and two sons, Roice Hines and Elant'e Hines, all of Las Vegas; his mother, Estella Hines, and one brother, Rory Hines, both of North Las Vegas; three sisters, Cynthia Marshall of North Las Vegas, Valerie Razi-Bey of Pennsylvania and Doretha Scott of Las Vegas; and his grandmother, Omezell Harper of Arkansas.
Visitation is scheduled 2-8 p.m. Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be noon Saturday in Portals to Glory Church of God in Christ, 2301 Comstock Drive. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Floyd E. Hunt
Floyd E. Hunt, 79, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local health care center. He was born April 19, 1923, in Burley, Idaho. A resident for 30 years, he was a retired stylist and owner-operator of a barber shop, a World War II Army veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 1753.
He is survived by one daughter, Linda Roberts of Meridian, Idaho; one son, Kenneth Trueba of Corvallis, Ore.; four sisters, Esther Fisher and Doris Alzola, both of Mountain Home, Idaho, Gladys Shore of Redmond, Ore., and Karma Lemaster of Sultan, Wash.; one brother, Ray Hunt of Mountain Home; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-6 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
The family suggests donations to Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 1753 in Las Vegas.

Eloisa Pacheco, 97, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born May 13, 1905, in Trinidad, Colo. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by four daughters, Pauline Vigil of Las Vegas, Frances Pacheco of Rye, Colo., Juanita Moers of Henderson, Pauline Ruybalid of San Jose, Calif., Betty Cordova of Albuquerque and Ruth Salazar of Cedar City, Utah; two sons, Ed Pacheco of Center, Colo., and Olie Lovato of Las Vegas; one sister, Nettie Chavez of Fountain, Colo.; 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Central Christian Church, 1001 New Beginnings Drive, Henderson. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Eunice Olivia Perry, 69, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born Aug. 6, 1932, in Texas. A resident for 31 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, James.

Carolyn Peters, 62, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 19, 1939, in Price, Utah. A resident for four years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, John; one daughter, Kelley Duran of North Las Vegas; two sons, Justen Peters of Las Vegas and Douglas Peters of Santa Maria, Calif.; one sister, Marlene Decaro of Price; two brothers, Clark Powell of Newport Beach, Calif., and Douglas Powell of Santa Rosa, Calif.; and nine grandchildren.

Charles I. Pruett, 48, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 1, 1953, in Japan. A resident for one month, he was an industrial hygienist for a consulting firm and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Janet L., one son, Chuck Pruett, and two daughters, Andrea T. Pruett and Kelly K. Pruett, all of Morris, Ill.; two brothers, Jim Pruett and Tom Pruett, both of Kenosha, Wis.; and three sisters, Kay Engelmann of Austin, Texas, Barbara Allgretto of Lansing, Mich., and Janet Peaslee of Madison, Wis.

Robert Sargent, 78, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 4, 1923, in Tacoma, Wash. A resident for 14 years, he was a retired machine shop foreman, a World War II Army veteran and a member of International Training and Communications.
He is survived by his wife, Jessiea; three daughters, Sandra Paetz of Spanaway, Wash., Marsha Reeves of Tenino, Wash., and Sonia Selzer of Portland, Ore.; one brother, Reed Sargent of Seattle; one sister, Lela Owens of Tacoma; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Ida E. Schnipper, 82, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 23, 1919, in Hohenstein, Germany. A resident for four years, she was a retired singer.
She is survived by her husband, Harold; two daughters, Maja Doherty and Sylvi Stuart, both of Las Vegas; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Sandra Lee Story, 56, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 24, 1945, in Illinois. A resident for 20 years, she was an administrator for a plumbing company.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Jane Zidek; one daughter, Paula Lynn Story; and one brother, Jon Zidek.

Steven A. Striano
Steven A. Striano, 54, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born May 29, 1947, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 23 years, he was a retired cabinetmaker.
He is survived by his wife, Janet; one daughter, Briana Striano, two sons, Steven Striano Jr. and Christopher Striano, and one brother, Raymond Striano, all of Las Vegas.
A memorial service will be 5 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Ashley Troester, 16, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born March 20, 1986, in Las Vegas. She was a student.
She is survived by her mother, Diana Adamson of Reno; her father, David Troester of Las Vegas; and her grandparents, Jeannie and Charles Adamson of Phoenix, and Arley Goris of Las Vegas.
Services will be 5 p.m. Friday at Solid Rock Ministries, 2929 Cedar Ave. Boulder City Family Mortuary, 833 Nevada Way, Suite 1, Boulder City, is handling arrangements.
Annie L. Trotter
Annie L. Trotter, 53, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 21, 1948, in Warren, Ark. A resident for 33 years, she was a hotel guest room attendant and a member of the Culinary Union.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Trotter and Quincey Trotter, both of Las Vegas; five sisters, Maxine Miller of Delmar, Ark., Mildred Crosbey of Warren, Flossie Neal of Las Vegas and Barbara Dobbie and Tommie Vinson, both of Chicago; and nine grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday followed by a gathering in Victory Baptist Church, 500 W. Monroe Ave.
Camillo J. Valente
Camillo J. Valente, 84, of Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. He was born March 29, 1918, in Detroit. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired contractor.
He is survived by two daughters, Pamela Duszynski of Henderson and Delores Maier of Napa, Calif.; one son, Ronald Fountain of Michigan; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday with a 5:30 p.m. prayer service in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Jo Ann Weingarten, 60, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born May 14, 1941, in New York City. A resident for 10 years, she was a self-employed property manager.
She is survived by her husband, David; one daughter, Susan, and one son, Eric, both of Las Vegas.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Congregation Ner Tamid, 2761 Emerson Ave. Neptune Society of Nevada, 8570 Del Webb Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Leland E. Wilson
Leland E. Wilson, 74, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 16, 1927, in Los Angeles. A resident for two years, he was in marketing, a Navy veteran, a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and Canyon Country Club.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy; three daughters, Arlene Decosta, Elizabeth Lusk and Barbara Koontz; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
