High School: Green Valley ('98)
Where is he now: New York University
Class: Senior
Sport: Volleyball
Currently: Kallick recently completed a stellar four-year varsity collegiate career, leading the Violets to a third-place finish at last month's Molten Division III Championships. Kallick, who played in all 31 matches for 24-7 NYU, racked up 491 kills this season to set a new school record of 1,925 kills for his career. He capped off his senior year by earning a spot on the Division III all-tournament team.
Looking back: One of the area's dominant prep volleyball players during the 1990s, Kallick helped the Gators capture the 1997 4A Southern Zone title and return to the zone tournament in 1998, when he was named the conference's boys volleyball player of the Year. He also started for a Green Valley basketball team that won the 1998 Sunrise Division title and earned a trip to the state tournament.
