Letter: Admiration of Clinton puzzling
Wednesday, May 15, 2002 | 9:13 a.m.
I truly find it hard to believe that Brian Greenspun and some others can so blindly admire and believe Bill Clinton. The man is an admitted liar. As president of the United States this man looked me in the eye, pointed his finger at me and lied.
He did the same thing under oath -- this was not just a sleazy lawyer from Arkansas lying, this was the president of our United States. Mr. Clinton makes hundreds of thousands of dollars as a public speaker, and he obviously tells each audience what it wants to hear.
He told Nevadans what they wanted to hear -- it must be remembered that this man has no morals. I find it very naive on Mr. Greenspun's part that he believes that as a public speaker, or maybe a future talk show host, another classy move by this ex-president, that Mr. Clinton will have any influence whatsoever over any Yucca Mountain decisions.
Mr. Greenspun's blind admiration of Mr. Clinton is far more disturbing than the truth he refers to as blind hate by the R-J.
