Morgan Bostwick hit a bases-loaded single to ignite a four-run fourth inning and lead UNLV to a 5-1 victory over Colorado State in the first round of the Mountain West Conference Softball Tournament Thursday at Provo, Utah. The Rebels then lost to Utah 8-0.
Timely hitting was the key for the Rebels as three of the team's eight hits came in the fourth. Carrie Bayless led off the inning with an infield single and the Rams walked both Geney Orris and Pauline Glenn to load the bases. Bostwick then lifted a single to left field to drive in the first run.
