1st Race -- BALTORO - Training at Santa Anita, bug boy Trujillo atop Gonzalez trainee for owners McCaffery & Toffan, bullish on graduation. BET ON BRAD - Flores aboard Cerin trainee, draws good post for sprint maiden-claiming opener, Bet On Brad for diploma run. Value Play -- THUNDER BULLET
2nd Race -- EXPRESSIONIST - Pincay sits Mandella trainee for owners Moss, draws good post for claiming sprint, a factor throughout in this. BLUESTHESTANDARD - Hard knocking gelding draws good spot here, Gomez aboard Glatt trainee, should be competitive at this level. Value Play -- SALBEN
3rd Race -- LA VITA BELLA - Irish-bred filly draws good spot for turf route, Gomez on one-of-two Frankel-trained 'hidden entry', solid contender. DYNAMOUS - Smith astride this 'other' Frankel trainee, another that is spotted well in this heat, Frankel quinella forthcoming. Value Play -- HEJAZIAH
4th Race -- HEAVENLY SEARCH - Training at Santa Anita, Pincay aboard Spawr trainee for owner Golden Eagle Farm, devine path for this one. MY CAPTAIN - Flores astride Mandella trainee for owners Moss, needs prompt start and clean trip from inside post for allowance sprint, ahoy victory? Value Play -- PRIMERICA
5th Race -- GREAT WHITE FATHER - Draws good spot for maiden-breaker attempt, Flores on one-of-two Canini-trained 'hidden entry', Great White diploma here. IVAN MOTLEY - Draws alongside top pick, Gomez aboard Dollace trainee, Ivan may be able to beat a Motley crew for graduation. Value Play -- PROFESSOR HIGGINS
6th Race -- GLOBAL FINANCE - Flores on owner Dutton trainee, draws good post for short stakes dash, flashy filly may tab her first added-money event here. SINGING SWISS - Trainer Harrington tabs bug boy Trujillo but gives up wieght advantage in stakes, needs prompt start here, Swiss may be Singing to bank. Value Play -- BRONX TALE
7th Race -- CANTALOUPE - Training at Santa Anita, P. Val aboard Gaines trainee, needs crafty trip from outer post in turf route, good spot for action. GLORIOUS LINDA - French-bred draws good rail post, Valdivia aboard Silva trainee here, set to get a catbird trip in this. Value Play -- CHIME AFTER CHIME
8th Race -- REINE DES NEIGES - Draws good middle post in full field of maiden sprinters, P. Val scales Sise trainee, respect combo here. NAZAREEN - Smith atop Sadler trainee for owners Moss, draws good outer box for this, Naza-green for backers with graduation score. Value Play -- FIVE RIVERS
9th Race -- RAPIDOUGH - Flores atop Canani trainee, needs prompt start and clean trip from rail post in short turf dash, add blinkers for this. LOOKN EAST - P. Val employed by trainer Cerin here, should get a good trip from inner post, when they turn for home they may be Lookn East to win. Value Play -- ROCKY BAR
10th Race -- MICKEY'S HOT STUFF - Gomez aboard Abrams trainee, draws good post for 7-panel nightcap, well spotted for good effort here. SAGLE - Draws good outside box for claiming finale, Berrio on this Sadler trainee, should be competitive at this low-level tag. Value Play -- ACCELL
