Amelia Agliani-Cullivan

Amelia Agliani-Cullivan, 83, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born May 31, 1918, in Chino, Calif. A former Las Vegas resident during the 1940s and again a Las Vegas resident for the past eight years, she was a retired dairy rancher and a former member of the Pomona (Calif.) Emblem Club.

She is survived by one daughter, Jacqueline B. Agliani of Las Vegas.

Reiner Bergmann

Reiner Bergmann, 67, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 1, 1934, in Leverkusen, Germany. A resident for four years, he was a retired home improvement contractor and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Gertraud; and one goddaughter, Jaime Sarachit of Los Angeles.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Shirley A. Brown

Shirley A. Brown, 72, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 26, 1930, in Minnesota. A resident for 18 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three daughters, JoAnne Anderson and Dianne Brown, both of Minnesota, and Linda Ladner of Illinois; two sisters, Esther Moline and Inez Thunstrom, both of Minnesota; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held in Minnesota. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Norval Percy Cavett

Norval Percy Cavett, 81, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 28, 1920, in Iowa. A resident for six years, he was a pilot for Delta Airlines and an Army Air Corps veteran.

He is survived by five daughters, Rhonda Disney of Redwood City, Calif., Lani Sanders of Bend, Ore., Sue Baldwin of Los Angeles, Cathy Cavett of Boulder, Colo., and Viki Butler of Seattle; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Elizabeth Ann Current

Elizabeth Ann Current, 51, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born June 30, 1950, in Portage, Pa. A resident for five years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Ann Arbor Cage Bird Club.

She is survived by her husband, Steven; one son, Justin S. Reed of Las Vegas; and her mother, Sue Crites, and one sister, Elaine May, both of Ann Arbor, Mich.

Shirley J. Fidler

Shirley J. Fidler, 60, of North Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born July 14, 1941, in Russell Gulch, Colo. A resident for 42 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Bill; four daughters, Diana Lambeth and Karen Taylor, both of Las Vegas, Christina Helvin of Enterprise, Ala., and Elaine Metivier of South Carolina; three sisters, Billie Slinkard and Beverly Shuter, both of Boulder, Colo., and Sherry Hogg of Bakersfield, Calif.; and nine grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in College Park Baptist Church, 2101 E. Owens Ave., North Las Vegas. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Anthony M. Giammarino

Anthony M. Giammarino, 55, of Henderson died Wednesday in Henderson. He was born April 5, 1947, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 11 years, he was a cart superintendent at a golf course.

He is survived by one brother, Robert Giammarino of Henderson.

Visitation is scheduled 2-4 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Phyllis Johnson

Phyllis Johnson, 82, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born June 23, 1919, in Minneapolis. A resident for 12 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her caregiver, Debbie Smith of Las Vegas.

Graveside services will be 9 a.m. Monday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

The family suggests contributions to the animal shelter or animal society of the donor's choice.

Richard E. Knaub

Richard E. Knaub, 76, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 13, 1925, in Wellsville, Pa. A resident for 13 years, he retired as a pressman at the Los Angeles Times after 25 years and was a World War II Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Linda J.; one daughter, Sherry L. Chavez of Irvine, Calif.; one stepdaughter, Billie L. Gromala of South Chicago Heights, Ill.; one stepson, John V. Lewis of Schererville, Ind.; four brothers, Wayne Knaub, Donald Knaub and Carl Knaub, all of York, Pa., and Robert Knaub of Lakelure, N.C.; two sisters, Dorothy Knaub Armstrong of Hanover, Pa., and Bernice Knaub Estep of Sarasota, Fla.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. until a 4 p.m. service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Hugo G. Lajonchere

Hugo G. Lajonchere, 85, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 8, 1917, in Palmyra, Cuba. A resident for 43 years, he was a bookkeeper at a restaurant.

He is survived by three daughters, Kimberly Harvell of Point Reyes, Calif., and Ena Bigelow and Alina Zimmer, both of Las Vegas; one son, Otto Gonzales of Las Vegas; and 11 grandchildren.

Melvin Lange

Melvin Lange, 56, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 3, 1945, in Storm Lake, Iowa. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired refrigeration technician of 28 years.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy; two daughters, Shelly Hoppe of Georgetown, Calif., and Melissa Lange of Las Vegas; three sons, Roger Lange of Las Vegas, Paul Lange of Sacramento and Christopher Lange of Fort Worth, Texas; four sisters, Jan Redenbaugh and Vee Tutt, both of Storm Lake, Iowa, Linda Cress of Minneapolis and Judy Yager of Tualatin, Ore.; one brother, Leroy Lange of Georgetown, Calif.; and one grandchild.

Robert M. Lathrop

Robert M. Lathrop, 60, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 20, 1942, in Kentucky. A resident for 34 years, he was a businessman and an Air Force veteran of 11 years.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon.

Pamela Jo Little, 55, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 20, 1947, in Lufkin, Texas. A resident for 17 years, she was a switchboard operator.

She is survived by her parents, Joe C. and Doreen Violet Little of Lufkin; and one brother, Bill Little of Dallas.

Ilias D. Mihaloliakos

Ilias D. Mihaloliakos, 55, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born June 15, 1946, in Athens, Greece. A resident for 10 years, he was self-employed in food and beverage.

He is survived by two daughters, Stavroula Mihaloliakos and Paraskevi Mihaloliakos, both of Houston; three brothers, Nikolaos Mihaloliakos, Panagriotis Mihaloliakos and Grigorios Mihaloliakos, all of Athens; one sister, Frederiki Kaytia of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Rosary will be two hours prior to an 11 a.m. services Monday in St. John's Greek Orthodox Church, 5300 El Camino Road. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Helen Elaine Munsell-Maas

Helen Elaine Munsell-Maas, 85, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born May 25, 1916, in Sebiert, Colo. A resident for 40 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Beverly Bohn of Las Vegas and Sylvia Adwell of Frisco, Texas; 10 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Bobbie Jo Ozuna

Bobbie Jo Ozuna, 55, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 3, 1946, in Las Vegas. A resident for 15 years, she was a secretary with Metro Police.

She is survived by her husband, Andrew G.; three stepdaughters, Claudia Crowley, Cynthia Hall and Katie Ozuna, and two stepsons, Andrew Ozuna Jr. and Anthony Ozuna, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Ricky Collier of Watsonville, Calif.; two sisters, Jewell Nelson of Verndale, Wash., and Betsy Sharp of Fairbanks, Alaska; and six step-grandchildren.

Clarence 'Tiff' Payne

Clarence "Tiff" Payne, 91, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born June 9, 1910, in Tiffin, Ohio. A resident for seven years, he was a retired wax salesman and a member of the Elks in Burbank, Calif.

He is survived by his wife, Miriam; one daughter, Sandra Shehab of Henderson; and two grandchildren.

Wayne L. Pfitzer

Wayne L. Pfitzer, 69, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 24, 1932, in Java, S.D. A resident for 18 years, he was a meter reader/warehouseman for North Central Public Service for 20 years and a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Arlene; two sons, Perry Pfitzer of Coon Rapids, Minn., and Kelly Pfitzer of Savannah, Ga.; one daughter, Penny Recht of Rockford, Minn.; three brothers, Marvin Pfitzer of Sun City, Ariz., Robert Pfitzer of Mobridge, S.D., and Gehbert Pfitzer of Minneapolis; and seven grandchildren.

Rose Mary Schroeder

Rose Mary Schroeder, 39, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born July 29, 1962, in Buffalo, N.Y.. A resident for 15 years, she was a casino cashier.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin; one sister, Lynn Ganski of Albany, N.Y.; and one brother, Larry Stencel of Buffalo.

Roy B. Southern

Roy B. Southern, 78, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 1, 1924, in LaPryor, Texas. A resident for three years, he was a retired Coast Guard chief storekeeper and World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Nell; three stepdaughters, Paula Mapes of Henderson, Vicki Pennington of Montgomery, Texas, and Patti Barnett of Highlands, Texas; one stepson, Kirk Morris of San Antonio; and one sister, Perdie S. Scull of Corpus Christi, Texas.

Visitation is scheduled 3-5 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Mary Elizabeth Zayac

Mary Elizabeth Zayac, 82, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born Aug. 27, 1919, in Revere, Mass. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Cote of Las Vegas and Victoria Keller of Olcott, N.Y.; one son, Frank Zayac of Colorado Springs, Colo.; three sisters, Edna Perry, Virginia French and Catherine Griffin, all of Revere; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mass will be celebrated 9 a.m. Monday in Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church, 3050 Alta Drive. Graveside services will follow at 1:20 p.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
