Angela Avila
Angela Avila, 67, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 16, 1934, in Chicago. A resident for five years, she was a retired insurance representative and a member of the choir and Ladies Guild at Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church.
She is survived by one sister, Theresa Cuellar of Las Vegas; and one brother, Martin Avila of Chicago.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 9 a.m. Monday in Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church, 3050 Alta Drive. Graveside services will follow at 10 a.m. Monday in Palm Memorial Park.
Justin Alan Beam
Justin Alan Beam, 14, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 18, 1987, in Las Vegas. He was a student at Wassell Academy and a member of the Hog Club.
He is survived by his father, David Beam of Parker, Colo.; his mother and stepfather, Deborah and Merrill Ziegler, his guardians, Dean and Maggie Griffith, and three sisters, Kristen Ziegler, Samantha Ziegler and Rebecca Murphy, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 1 p.m. until a 3 p.m. service Saturday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Burial will be private.
Donald Anthony Broock
Donald Anthony Broock, 73, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 29, 1928, in San Francisco. A resident for five months, he was a truck driver for 22 years, an Army veteran and a member of the Teamsters Union.
He is survived by his wife, Karee; three sons, Donald Broock Jr., Jason Broock and Michael Morris, and one daughter, Janice Broock, all of California.
Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling private arrangements.
Kay Francis Burchette
Kay Francis Burchette, 66, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 21, 1936, in Bloomfield, Iowa. A resident for 17 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Peter; one daughter, Luann Heston of Las Vegas; two sons, Joshua Burchette of Rogue River, Ore., and Nathan Burchette of Portland, Ore.; her mother, Wanda Knupp of Bloomfield; one brother, Steve Knupp of Albia, Iowa; and three grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Neil D. Cox
Neil D. Cox, 69, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. An engineering professor and an Army veteran, he was born Aug. 6, 1932, in Oklahoma.
He is survived by three sons, Jason Cox, Carey Cox and Sheldon Cox, all of Las Vegas; two daughters, Sandy Thompson of Ohio and Jennifer Saunders of Massachusetts; one brother, Gary Cox of Arizona; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Steven Deabenderfer
Steven Deabenderfer, 36, of Pahrump died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born Aug. 14, 1965, in San Pablo, Calif. A resident for four years, he was a pipefitter and a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 525.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie; one son, Tyler James Deabenderfer, and one daughter, M,Kenzie Grace Deabenderfer, both of Pahrump; his parents, Don and Sharon Deabenderfer, one sister, Lorie Jones, two brothers, Mike Deabenderfer and John Deabenderfer, and his great-grandmother, Estelle Deabenderfer, all of San Pablo, Calif.
Visitation is scheduled 5-8 p.m. Saturday in Pahrump Family Mortuary, 5441 S. Vicki Ann Road. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Pahrump Family Mortuary. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Pahrump.
Clare E. Esposito
Clare E. Esposito, 64, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 15, 1937, in Queens, N.Y. A resident for 18 years, she was a hotel bookkeeper for seven years.
She is survived by her husband, Nino; one son, Nunzio Esposito Jr. of Los Angeles; and one brother, Edward Geiger of New York.

Janet Ruth Fitzgerald
Janet Ruth Fitzgerald, 35, of Sandy Valley died Sunday. A waitress, she was born June 30, 1966, in Wisconsin.
She is survived by one daughter; and her parents, Robert and Carolyn Fitzgerald of Racine, Wis.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Racine. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Paul L. Gentile
Paul L. Gentile, 33, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born March 12, 1969, in Steubenville, Ohio. A resident for 27 years, she was a trade show engineer.
He is survived by his parents, Joan and Robert A. Gentile, and two sisters, Denise Gentile and Lisa Gentile, all of Las Vegas; and his grandmother, Eileen Rock of Columbus, Ohio.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Jones. Burial will follow at noon Saturday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Eleanora A. Gordon
Eleanora A. Gordon, 86, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 9, 1915, in Janesville, Wis. A resident for 40 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Sam Moccero of Chandler, Ariz., and Dick Moccero of Janesville, Wis.; one stepdaughter, Brenda Best, and one stepson, Bruce Gordon, both of Phoenix; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-5 p.m. Saturday and noon-7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will be noon Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Carolyn Louise Harper
Carolyn Louise Harper, 69, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born June 7, 1932, in Detroit. A resident for five years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by four sons, Jack Johnson and Timothy Harper, both of Las Vegas, William Johnson of Woodland Hills, Calif., and Matthew Harper of Ypsilanti, Mich.; two daughters, Jeannette Johnson of Williamsville, N.Y., and JoAnne Mulcahy of Newberry Park, Calif.; one sister, Anita Moulton of Martinsville, Ind.; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Robert L. Hightower Sr.
Robert L. Hightower Sr., 68, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 16, 1934, in Buffalo, N.Y. A resident for two years, he was a retired auto worker and a Korean War Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley; two daughters, Ottilie Woodruff of Buffalo and Claudia D. Hightower of Germantown, Md.; two sons, Robert L. Hightower Jr. and Dane C. Hightower, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Isaac Hightower, and two sisters, Evelyn Jordan and Dolores Hightower, all of Buffalo; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Sunday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.
Joseph W.K. Kinimaka
Joseph W.K. Kinimaka, 69, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born June 26, 1932, in Honolulu. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired entertainer who had been in several films and television and known for his steel guitar artistry; he was a Gardena, Calif., restaurateur, cruise director for Mattson, sales representative for Hawaiian Airlines, hotel manager and a real estate investor in Hawaii.
He is survived by his wife, Karen; two daughters, Malia Kimimaka and Kelly Kinimaka, both of Manhattan Beach, Calif.; one son, J.D. Kinimaka of Honolulu; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Sunday with a 6:30 p.m. rosary in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday in St. Anne Catholic Church, 1901 S. Maryland Parkway.

Bernice D. Langsner, 80, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born May 2, 1921, in Chicago. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Maurice Langsner of Las Vegas; one son, Shep Langsner of Kaneohe, Hawaii; and three grandchildren.

Jose De Lalus Martinez
Jose De Lalus Martinez, 87, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 16, 1914, in Durango, Mexico. A resident for 19 years, he was a retired laborer.
He is survived by four daughters, Placida Jimenez of Las Vegas and Praxedez Martinez, Maria Martinez and Elpidia Martinez, all of Durango; two sons, Gil Martinez of Las Vegas and Elitio Martinez of Durango; and 14 grandchildren.

William F. McCormick
William F. McCormick, 73, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. He was born Jan. 17, 1929, in Fort Smith, Ark. A resident for four years, he was a retired accountant and a Korean War Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; four daughters, Robyn Loggins of Morro Bay, Calif., Patricia Traub of Phoenix and Barbara Robinson and Rochelle Aizenberg, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Michael McCormick of Panama City, Fla.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is private. Graveside services will be 9 a.m. Saturday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. A private burial will follow. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Patsy Lee St. Clair
Patsy Lee St. Clair, 60, of Las Vegas died April 25 in Las Vegas. A resident for four years, she was born April 4, 1942, in Oklahoma.
She is survived by her husband, Leslie; three sons, Mathew, Rusty and Chris; two daughters, Melissa and Dawn; and four grandchildren.

Patricia A. Santafemia
Patricia A. Santafemia, 58, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 11, 1944, in Erie, Pa. A resident for 11 years, she was a controller for a software company.
She is survived by one daughter, Sherry Frelke of Texas; two sons, Ronald Kutz of Pennsylvania and Michael Kutz of Florida; one stepdaughter, Roseann Santafemia of Las Vegas; one stepson, Michael Santafemia of New York; her mother, Ida M. Lhose of Pennsylvania; one brother, Edward Novotny of Virginia; and numerous grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Nathan Adelson Hospice, 3391 N. Buffalo Drive. Burial will be private. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.
Ronald Searls
Ronald Searls, 69, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born March 27, 1933, in Oak Hill, Ohio. A resident for five years, he was an automobile salesman and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his companion, June Coultas of Las Vegas; one daughter, Cindy Marcell of Everett, Wash.; and one sister, Louise Wilson of Oak Hill, Ohio.

Maxine Sears
Maxine Sears, 72, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. A housekeeper, she was born April 15, 1930, in Texas.
She is survived by two brothers, Fred Heath of Las Vegas and Johnnie B. Parker of Dallas; and one sister, Williemae Hundley of Phoenix.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Second Baptist Church, 500 W. Madison Ave. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Marjorie A. Wissner
Marjorie A. Wissner, 84, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born Nov. 28, 1917, in New Orleans. A resident for 15 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Wissner of Las Vegas; two brothers, Paul Joseph of Turlock, Calif., and Bill Joseph of Sonoma, Calif.; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
