Letter: Nevada Power job cuts should start at the top

I do so agree with John J. Huelbig Jr.'s April 17 letter, "Nevada Power takeover needed." All Nevada Power is doing is crying over not getting the increase it wanted.
So now the company will threaten us with blackouts and how it can't do future hookups.
Well, what happened to all that extra power it bought last year? I may be naive, but I am not the only one asking that question.
As far as cutting back, why does the company always have to start with lowest paid employees? Why doesn't it start at the top and save itself a lot of money? Why should they continue to get bonuses? Why don't they take a cut in your own paycheck?
I agree with Huelbig, let them go "belly up" and let someone else take over. We just may not have to worry about this ever again.
