Camera removed from police dressing room

Metro Police began an investigation Thursday into who installed a small camera and recording device in the Clark County Park Police men's dressing room and why it was done.
The camera was spotted and torn down last month by park police officers.
"What we would like to know is how it got there," said Shannon West, an assistant parks director. "We were shocked that it had been installed."
Whether the device found was a working camera has yet to be determined. West said she does not believe the camera was operative, though police officers have said they believe it was capable of recording.
Though some county officials believe the camera was installed years ago after officers complained of locker thefts, West said her division has no information and therefore sought help from Metro police.
