BASEBALL
Green Valley 1, Basic 0: Ryan Tabor tossed a complete-game three-hit shutout, striking out 10 and walking one for the Gators. Kevin Day went 3-for-3 and doubled in the game's lone run in the first inning.
Cheyenne 9, Mojave 0: Ryan Prince scattered three hits over seven innings, striking out 10 and walking two, and also belted a three-run homer to lead the Desert Shields.
Bishop Gorman 4, Bonanza 2: David Rodgers' triple drove in two runs as the Gaels scored four unearned runs in the seventh inning to top the Bengals.
Foothill 20, Coronado 4: Jabe Beard struck out eight batters in five innings, Brian Holsey went 3-for-4 with three runs and Spud Low doubled and tripled for the Falcons.
Palo Verde 9, Centennial 8: Peter Yaskin's two-RBI double highlighted a three-run Panther seventh, and Brandon Kintzler homered and drove in two runs as Palo Verde knocked off the No. 1 Bulldogs.
Durango 21, Clark 7 Coltyn Simmons went 3-for-4 with a grand slam, a double and a triple and knocked in eight runs for the Trailblazers. Isaiah Whigham and Don Sutton also homered for Durango, which also got two doubles and two triples from Danny Kelly.
Las Vegas 16, Rancho 1: David Hamilton's grand slam capped a nine-run Wildcat first inning, and Sean Kazmar went 3-for-4 with a homer for the victors.

SOFTBALL
Bonanza 10, Bishop Gorman 0: Kim Devenberg and Kerrie Campbell had three hits apiece, and Lyndsay Gensler and Alicia Beuter drove in two runs apiece to lead the Bengals.
Las Vegas 14, Rancho 1: The Wildcats got homers from Brieanna Kinard, Marsha Rollins and Nicole Hammonds, who combined to drive in 10 runs. Kinard also picked up the win for Las Vegas.
Centennial 6, Palo Verde 2: Amy Sauer struck out 11 and Shannon Crisp went 2-for-2 for the Bulldogs, while Jen Huber had two hits for the Panthers.
Durango 14, Clark 4: Stefanie Fisco went 3-for-4 with a double and a triple and four RBIs and Nikki Ortiz drove in three runs for the Blazers. Valerie Jimenez had two hits for Clark.
Eldorado 28, Desert Pines 0: Brently Bridgeforth went 5-for-6 with two doubles at the plate and struck out eight on the mound for the Sundevils. Jaime Larsen also went 5-for-6 with a pair of RBIs for Eldorado.
Basic 6, Green Valley 2: Brittany Lorenzen went 2-for-3 with a double, and the Wolves scored three unearned runs in the first inning to take control. Meaghan Haley struck out eight for the Gators in the loss.
Cheyenne 17, Mojave 11: Megan Whiteaker went 4-for-4 with a homer and three RBIs and Nicole Parque went 3-for-5 with a double for the Desert Shields.
Coronado 20, Foothill 0: Heather Morvay went 4-for-5, Brittany Loisel was 3-for-5 and Candace Mikkelsen and Nicole Meyer had two hits apiece to lead the Cougars.

Durango def. Clark, 15-1, 15-7, 15-2: Miles Peshlakai had nine kills, Neal Aboul-Hosn added seven kills and four blocks and Matt Cloyes dished ut 24 assists for the Blazers. Calvin Lynch had five kills and three blocks for Clark.
Centennial def. Palo Verde, 15-11, 15-12, 11-15, 15-7: Daniel Wright racked up 63 assists, Casey Evans had 29 kills and John Hepler chipped in 24 kills for the Bulldogs. The Panthers got 44 assists and 10 blocks from Mike Chong and 13 kills from Marcus Dixon in the loss.
