The family of Mills Lane thanked friends and well-wishers for the many messages of love and support it has received since the boxing judge had a stroke in March.
"We had no idea just how many lives Mills has touched," Lane's wife, Kaye, said Tuesday in Reno.
Lane is continuing his rehabilitation at a hospital in White Plains, N.Y., where he was transferred from Reno.
The stroke affected 64-year-old Lane's speech and resulted in mild weakness to the right side of his body.
The former district attorney and county judge starred in a nationally syndicated TV show, "Judge Mills Lane," for three years until it was canceled a year ago. He also refereed the heavyweight bout in which he disqualified Mike Tyson for biting Evander Holyfield's ears.
