Warm Easter weekend expected

A spring storm brought dark clouds and a trace of rain to the western edge of the Las Vegas Valley Thursday.
A low pressure system moving eastward from Baja California caused the disturbance in the sunny Southern Nevada weather pattern, National Weather Service meteorologist Joe Nemeth said.
There was no measurable rain in the valley, Nemeth said.
For the Easter holiday weekend, temperatures are supposed to warm up and sunshine will return, Nemeth said.
The high temperature expected today is 79 degrees, Nemeth said. Thursday's high was 76 degrees.
For Saturday and Sunday daytime temperatures will reach the lower 80s.
"It will be a very nice Easter weekend," Nemeth said.
