Renoir, Picasso lauded by Mobil

For the third consecutive year two Las Vegas restaurants have garnered Mobil Travel Guide's coveted five-star honor.
Renoir at The Mirage and Picasso at Bellagio were two of only 14 restaurants nationwide to receive the highly regarded distinction.
World-renowned Chef Alessandro Stratta opened Renoir in 1999 with a vision to offer innovative, contemporary French Cuisine. Original works from the restaurant's namesake, master painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir, grace the silk walls of the 93-seat restaurant.
Picasso's Mediterranean-style cuisine was created by award-winning Chef Julian Serrano.
Serrano's dishes were inspired by the South of France and Spain regions, where Pablo Picasso spent most of his life.
The five-star honor indicates that a restaurant is one of the best in the nation and able to provide an unequivocal level of service, quality and ambience.
"Of the thousands of properties included in Mobil Travel Guide, only a fraction achieve the level of excellence required by the four- and particularly the five-star designation," said Kenneth P. Cohen, vice president of public affairs for Exxon Mobil Corporation.
