Lawrence Aldenhoevel

Lawrence Aldenhoevel, 78, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 1, 1924, in Chicago. A resident for 32 years, he was executive director and department manager of public relations at Caesars Palace, a World War II Army veteran who earned two Bronze Stars, a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and was named honorary chief of Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indians.

He is survived by his wife, Anna; one stepdaughter, Nancy Nelson of Las Vegas; two stepsons, Ken Smith of Las Vegas and Larry Smith of Parker, Colo.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is arranging private services.

George Conrad

George Conrad, 63, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 28, 1938, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 13 years, he was a fire marshal and code enforcement officer for the Boulder City Fire Department, a member of Sunrise Rotary Club in Boulder City, Connecticut Fire Instructors Association, Casino Chips and Gaming Tokens Collectors Club and Nevada Association of Code Enforcement.

He is survived by his wife, Liz; two daughters, Judith Conrad of Canton, Conn., and Cindy Conrad-Jacobs of Fayetteville, N.C.; one brother, David Conrad of New Hartford, Conn.; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service was scheduled at 4 p.m. today in the Boulder City Fire Department, 1101 Elm St. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

The family suggests donations to Boulder City Fireman's Memorial Fund, Boulder City Fire Department, 1101 Elm St., Boulder City, Nev.

C.T. 'Chuck' Creigh

C.T. "Chuck" Creigh, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday. He was born Aug. 8, 1927, in Los Angeles. A resident for 49 years, he owned a construction company and was a member of Oasis Masonic Lodge 41 F&AM.

He is survived by his wife, Jewell; three daughters, Dorothy Creigh Farr of Henderson, Jane Schepmoes of Hoosick Falls, N.Y., and Debbie Baker of Mason City, Iowa; two stepsons, Jeff Roberts of Las Vegas and Tim Roberts of St. George, Utah; three sisters, Marie Hart of Marysville, Wash., Margaret Wooten of Phoenix and Esther Rebizzo of San Francisco; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Anna Lynn Daniels

Anna Lynn Daniels, 82, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born Feb. 13, 1920, in Bridgeville, Pa. A resident for 46 years, she was a homemaker and former member of Las Vegas Emblem Club.

She is survived by one daughter, Deborah Ann Daniels-Ray of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Saturday in The Lakes Lutheran Church, 8200 W. Sahara Ave. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Earl W. Dodd

Earl W. Dodd, 89, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born June 25, 1912, in Fort Worth, Texas. A resident for 16 years, he was a retired branch manager for a paint manufacturer, a World War II Navy veteran, a member of the Navy League and Rotary International and a former member of the Kentucky Colonels.

He is survived by his wife, Hermine K.

A memorial service will be 5 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Gerald Ewig

Gerald Ewig, 57, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born April 9, 1944, in Chicago. A resident for 14 years, he was a retired casino warehouseman and a Vietnam War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Joanne D.; four daughters, Cindy, Cathy and Nancy, all of Chicago, and Karen of Pahrump; two sons, Dan Ewig and Clint Ewig, and one sister, Virginia, all of Chicago; two brothers, Kenneth Ewig of Kingman, Ariz., and Bernie Ewig of Tennessee; and six grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Leanne Jo Fouquette

Leanne Jo Fouquette, 33, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born March 19, 1969, in San Diego. A resident for 13 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her parents, Malcolm and Virginia Fouquette, and one sister, Jolene Breen, all of Las Vegas.

Services will be noon Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Bertha M. Fulton

Bertha M. Fulton, 82, of Reno died Tuesday in Reno. She was born June 2, 1919, in California. A former Las Vegas resident, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Carol Jeanne Fulton of Washington, D.C.; one son, Ronald G. Fulton; one sister, Vallory Bartosh of Oxnard, Calif.; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. Services will be in Reno. Ross, Burke & Knobel Mortuary, Reno, is handling arrangements.

Virginia Funaro

Virginia Funaro, 72, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 10, 1930, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 18 years, she was a retired food service manager.

She is survived by three daughters, Eileen Nicholson of Ventura, Calif., Joyce Funaro of Richmond, Va., and Dolores Funaro of Woodland Hills, Calif.; one sister, Maureen Whitehead of Jacksonville Beach, Fla.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Pending services will be in Ventura. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Bernard Gerber

Bernard Gerber, 76, of Henderson died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born May 9, 1925, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for nine years, he was a retired civil engineer, a World War II Army veteran, a founding member of Shelter Rock Jewish Center and a member of its men's club.

He is survived by two daughters, Jill Finnzraich of Henderson and Bari Fagin of Great Neck, N.Y.; one brother, Israel Gerber of Bayside, N.Y.; and four grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane, is handling arrangements.

Shirley Kemp Imboden

Shirley Kemp Imboden, 83, of Tucson died March 22 in Tucson. She was born June 21, 1918, in Houston. A former Las Vegas resident, she was a photo-journalist and a Las Vegas real estate agent.

She is survived by two brothers, her twin, Sidney Minatra of Abilene, Texas, and Jack Minatra of Burnet, Texas; and four stepchildren.

No local services are scheduled. Heather Mortuary, Tucson, is handling arrangements.

Sinclair Johnson

Sinclair Johnson, 69, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born April 4, 1932, in South Carolina. A resident for six years, he was a retired Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Julia; two sons, Sinclair Johnson Jr. and Kevin Lynn Johnson; one brother, Chester Johnson; and two grandchildren.

Visitation was scheduled 9 a.m. until an 11 a.m. service today in RAM Church, 1401 N. Decatur Blvd. Graveside services will be 1:20 p.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Amparo A. Kissner

Amparo A. Kissner, 84, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born April 15, 1917, in Peru. A resident for 36 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Mimi Dunn of Las Vegas; three brothers, Victor Arriaran of California, Mario Arriaran of New York state and Dagoberto Arriaran of Peru; one sister, Camilla Bills of Idaho; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 3 p.m. until a 6 p.m. rosary Sunday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.

Sharron K. Leafdale

Sharron K. Leafdale, 58, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 1, 1943, in Mississippi. A resident for 25 years, she was a clerical worker for a pharmaceutical company.

She is survived by four sons, John Leafdale and Scott Leafdale, both of Las Vegas, Casey Leafdale of Henderson and Patrick Leafdale of Florida; two daughters, Kelly Leafdale of Henderson and Cathy Leafdale; and 14 grandchildren.

Valley Memorial Crematory, 4855 W. Desert Inn Road, is handling arrangements.

Zoa 'Nery' Lopez

Zoa "Nery" Lopez, 78, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born July 5, 1923, in Cuba. A resident for 13 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by five daughters, Zoa Varela and Natalia Lopez, both of Las Vegas, Sylvia Weiss of Saugus, Calif., Josephine Perez of Homestead, Fla., and Jakeline Lopez-Nunley of Compton, Calif.; one son, Lazaro Lopez of Las Vegas; 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be noon Saturday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. A private burial will follow.

Irene Martinez

Irene Martinez, 85, of Henderson died Wednesday in Henderson. She was born Dec. 3, 1916, in Clair City, S.D. A resident for nine years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, William Anderson of Sioux Falls, S.D.; one daughter, Marie Lara of Las Vegas; one brother, Kenneth Kregstad of Clear Lake, Calif.; two sisters, Vivian Shelton of Auburn, Calif., and Eunice Lewis of Lake Isabella, Calif.; seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, followed by a private burial.

Audrey Leotha Priddie

Audrey Leotha Priddie, 77, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 5, 1925, in Trinidad, West Indies. A resident for 16 years, she was a retired registered nurse, a member of St. Johns Brigade in Trinidad, New Beginnings Christian Ministry in Las Vegas and the Las Vegas and New York medical associations.

She is survived by her husband, Cecil of the West Indies; two daughters, Marylou Matland-Wilson of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Joy Priddie-Ward of North Las Vegas; three sons, Elton Priddie of California, Hilary Priddie of Florida and Calvin Priddie of Las Vegas; two sisters, Olga Bourne of Las Vegas and Gladys Ashton of Alhambra, Calif.; one brother, Hubert Bourne, and her best friend of 35 years, Victoria Joseph, both of Trinidad; 28 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today and 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Margaret E. Sanpetrino

Margaret E. Sanpetrino, 78, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born June 12, 1923, in New York City. A resident for nine years, she was a retired clerk for a television repair shop.

She is survived by one daughter, Christine Gordon of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Anna Mae Sutton

Anna Mae Sutton, 72, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Henderson. She was born July 17, 1929, in Booneville, Ark. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Yalanda Hinkle of Laguna Niguel, Calif., and Colleen Ramey of Atlanta; her mother, Lola South of Las Vegas; one brother, Bill South of San Pedro, Calif.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Vickie L. Turner

Vickie L. Turner, 46, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born July 13, 1955, in Oklahoma City. A resident for five years, she was a secretary for the federal government.

She is survived by one daughter, Christi Lynn Turner, and her mother, Bobbie Prince, both of Henderson; one brother, Christopher Turner of Oklahoma City; and one sister, Barbara Rose of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 9-11 a.m. Saturday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd. Graveside services will follow at noon Saturday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Maureen Mary White

Maureen Mary White, 58, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. A domestic worker, she was born April 2, 1943, in Minnesota.

She is survived by one son, Ronald White of Minnesota.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Minnesota. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Deanna 'Dee' Wilson

Deanna "Dee" Wilson, 62, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born Dec. 7, 1939, in Chicago. A resident for 11 years, she was retired, a homemaker, founding member of Valley Outreach Synagogue of Henderson and a member of Valley Outreach Bowling League, Valley Outreach Sisterhood, Overseas Rehabilitation Training and Hadassah.

She is survived by her husband, Terry; two sons, Rory Wilson of Gilbert, Ariz., and Arnold Wilson of Henderson; two brothers, Jerrold Wulff of Buffalo Grove, Ill., and Fred Wulff of Glendale, Ariz.; and five grandchildren.

Services were scheduled at noon today in King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 Eldorado Lane, with burial following in King David Cemetery.
