Blazer Spring Bash
Coronado 9, Kingman (Ariz.) 7: Nate Sexton, Ali Amin, Joey Garcia and Mark Brazel had two hits apiece to lead the Cougars. Brazel and Amin combined to drive in five runs, and Sexton had a pair of doubles.
Coronado 20, Francis Parker (Calif.) 10: The Cougars captured the silver bracket championship with their fifth win in the tournament. Brett Weinstock went 4-for-5 with four RBIs and Ali Amin, Chase Billington and Marcos Mendoza had three hits apiece.
Durango 13, Smoky Hills (Calif.) 5: Danny Kelly went 4-for-5 and Don Sutton homered as the Blazers finished their tournament off with a win, bouncing back from their first loss of the season.
Cheyenne 11, Doherty (Colo.) 10: Brandon Moore had a pair of doubles to lead the Desert Shields to victory.
