Robert G. Breininger Jr.
Robert G. Breininger Jr., 51, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 29, 1950, in Pottsville, Pa. A resident for two years, he was a retired carpenter and Army veteran.
He is survived by his mother, Melvia Fadeley of Las Vegas; one brother, Frederick Breininger of Henderson; two sisters, Cherry McDowell of North Las Vegas and Suzanne Bremerman of Las Vegas.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2456 N. Decatur Blvd., handled arrangements.
Robert Broon
Robert Broon, 36, of Las Vegas died Sunday. He was born June 5, 1965, in Las Vegas. He was an auto mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Waldie of Las Vegas; one daughter, Teah Marie Broon of Las Vegas; his mother, Sharon Wilson of Anchorage, Alaska; two brothers, Delbert Broon Jr. of Reno and James Waldie of Las Vegas; three sisters, Debra Herman of Reno, Cassandra Potter of Anchorage and Tiffany Potter of Reno.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. services, Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
Diven Robert 'Brownie' Brown
Diven Robert "Brownie" Brown, 46, of Pahrump died Monday in Pahrump. He was born Dec. 22, 1955 in Redlands, Calif. A resident for seven years, he was a concrete worker.
He is survived by one son, Jeremy Brown of Palm Springs, Calif.; one daughter, Deanna Brown of Arizona; his mother, Dorothy Brown of Redlands; two sisters, Ann Sweeny of Lake Arrowhead, Calif., and Paulette Kiemele of Yukipa, Calif.; and his fiancee, Cathy Carter of Pahrump.
Services will be held in California. Pahrump Family Mortuary, 5441 S. Vicki Ann Road, Pahrump, is handling arrangements.
Donald G. Estes
Donald G. Estes, 78, of Boulder City died Monday in Boulder City. He was born Feb. 24, 1924, in Pasadena, Calif. A resident for 42 years, he was a retired fireman and a member of the Elk, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and he was a former president of the Lions.
He is survived by his wife, Dee; one daughter, Candee Estes of Las Vegas; one son, Tim Estes of Sammamish, Wash.; two stepdaughters, Lucia Olsen of Bonney Lake, Wash., and Peggy Hull of Las Vegas; two stepsons, Garret Wardell of Las Vegas and Roy Ferris of Reno; and two grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, handled arrangements.
Natalie Gomer
Natalie Gomer, 74, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local care center. She was born Aug. 22, 1927, in Lacona, Iowa. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired from the real estate business and was a former president of the Sun City Bridge Club.
She is survived by her husband, Albert; one daughter, Sarah Middleton of Denver; one son, Sky Gomer of Thailand; one sister, Norma Sones of California; and four grandchildren.
Services will be held 10 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Road. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park Northwest.
Charley Dean Hill
Charley Dean Hill, 78, of Las Vegas died Dec. 1 in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 17, 1922 in Missouri. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired cab driver and Army veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Cathy Hill of Calif.; one sister, Mary Ellen Ault of Oregon; one brother, Melvin Hill of Las Vegas and numerous grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held 11:20 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veteran Memorial Cemetery Chapel, Boulder City. Neptune Society of Nevada, 8570 Del Webb Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Lottie Kantor
Lottie Kantor, 85, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born Nov. 26, 1916, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for nine years, she was a retired interior decorator.
She is survived by one son, Bruce Kantor of Weymouth, Mass.; and two grandchildren.
King David Memorial Chapel & Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane, handled arrangements. Burial will be in Sun City, Ariz.
The family requests donations to the Alzheimers Foundation.
Benjamin L. Maestas
Benjamin L. Maestas, 48, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 28, 1953, in Tooele, Utah. A resident for five years, he was a bus driver.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Maestas of Beaumont, Calif.; one daughter, Sarah Maestas of Kamika, Idaho; one son, Jeremy Maestas of Beaumont; his parents, Benny and Barbara Maestas of Las Vegas; three brothers, Anthony Maestas of Waikiki, Hawaii, Michael Maestas of Garden Grove, Calif., and Matthew Maestas of Wilmington, Del.; two sisters, Diana Maestas of Las Vegas and Lori Gervais of Foothills Ranch, Calif.; and one grandchild.
Services are private. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Helen C. Marchak
Helen C. Marchak, 92, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born June 2, 1909, in Utica, N.Y. A resident for 44 years, she was a retired owner of an architectural firm.
She is survived by two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be 4 p.m. Tuesday in the family's home, 3832 Sinclair St. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Fred R. Martin, 78, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born June 14, 1923, in Sandpoint, Idaho. A resident for 60 years, he was a retired meat cutter and World War II Army Air Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca; three daughters, Karen Martin of North Las Vegas, Diane Costa of Idaho and Louise Lane of California; one son, Donald Martin of Washington; one sister, Isabel Erickson of Idaho; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., followed by burial in Palm Valley View Cemetery.

Loren D. Maurer, 52, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 3, 1949, in Long Beach, Calif. A resident for 40 years, he was a spa service technician and Vietnam War Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Karen; two sons, Eric Maurer of Denver and Bret Maurer of Las Vegas; three stepsons, Don Studebaker, Darrin Studebaker and David Studebaker, all of Las Vegas; two stepdaughters, Danette Studebaker and Deann Bradshaw, both of Henderson; two brothers, Michael Dryd of California and David Maurer of Las Vegas; two sisters, Leslie Lucero of Las Vegas and Cathy Fielding of North Las Vegas; two stepbrothers, John Maurer and Keith Maurer; one stepsister, Joyce Busho; and one grandchild.

Gail Morris, 59, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local care center. She was born July 31, 1942, in Rochester, N.Y. A resident for five years, she was in sales.
She is survived by her husband, Larry; one son, David Gaskins of Santa Ana, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Maggie Scott Pearson
Maggie Scott Pearson, 82, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born May 23, 1919, in Wetumpka, Ala. A resident for 39 years, she was a retired public school counselor and a member of the Links and Zeta sorority.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. William Pearson; and one sister, Mary Thomas of Wetumpka.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main, followed by burial in Palm Memorial Park.

Helen Mae Planchon, 84, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born March 31, 1917, in Missouri. A longtime resident, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Gary Planchon of Las Vegas.
Burial will be in Missouri. Hites Funeral Home, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Francis Joseph Russi
Francis Joseph Russi, 55, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 29, 1946, in Englewood, N.J. A resident for 30 years, he was a craps dealer.
He is survived by one son, Michael Russi of Las Vegas; four daughters, Trishtina Frances Russi, Krystal Leigh Russi, Kimberly Marie Russi and Carolyn Russi, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Mary Ann Gulero of New Jersey; and one brother, Tom Russi of Hawaii.
Visitation is scheduled 2-6 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday in Bunker Chapel. Burial is private.

Fred W. Sheldon Jr., 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 25, 1923, in Albion, Neb. A resident for 26 years, he was a retired Navy chief boatswains mate and World War II veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Josephine; one daughter, Joelle Perry of Salt Lake City; one son, Bill Quarnstrom of Chicago; three brothers, Byron Sheldon of Fresno, Calif., Eldon Sheldon of Lady Lake, Fla., and Robert Sheldon of San Diego; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, followed by burial in Palm Valley View Cemetery.

Pauline Stevens, 84, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born March 26, 1917. A resident for 25 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Lee Stevens and Dale Stevens, both of Las Vegas; two daughters, Nancy Pumberger of Las Vegas and Karen Stevens; and three grandchildren.
