Edward Winceinty Banel
Edward Winceinty Banel, 71, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born April 5, 1930, in Poland. A resident for three years, he was a Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by one son, Stephen Banel of Las Vegas; and two daughters, Victoria Banel of Simi Valley, Calif., and Elizabeth Banel of West Hills, Calif.
Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., arranged private family services.
Morgan S. Crockett
Morgan S. Crockett, 20, of Las Vegas died Thursday. He was born July 4, 1981, in Montclair, Calif. A resident for 18 years, he was a snowboard instructor.
He is survived by his parents, William and Paula Crockett, and three brothers, Anthony Crockett, Nick Crockett and Matt Crockett, all of Las Vegas; and his two grandfathers, Gail Hanson of Overton and Steve Crockett of LaPine, Ore.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 2 p.m. service Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 5701 N. Jones Blvd.
Stella Houston
Stella Houston, 84, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born Dec. 7, 1917, in Idaho. A resident for 62 years, she owned a retail store and was a member of Rebekah and Odd Fellows lodges.
She is survived by two daughters, Judy Lucero and Patricia Tuer; two brothers, Dwight Grace and Archie Grace; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is arranging private family services.
Douglas Gene Leavitt
Douglas Gene Leavitt, 53, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 16, 1949, in Rupert, Idaho. A resident for 12 years, he was a tile setter and a Vietnam War Army veteran.
He is survived by three brothers, Lynn Leavitt of Temple, Ga., Ron Leavitt of Las Vegas and Jeremy Leavitt of Fairview, Utah; and four sisters, Nida Breul of New Jersey, Nancy Nuttal of Overton, Kathleen Olson of Mapleton, Ga., and Carolyn Leavitt of Atlanta.
Services and burial will be in Utah. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Belva DeLena LeRoy aka LeGate
Belva DeLena LeRoy aka LeGate, 86, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born May 26, 1915, in Spokane, Wash. A resident for 15 years, she was an actress.
She is survived by two daughters, Nadeen Eck of Cedar Glen, Calif., and Amaris Bryer of Tarzana, Calif.; two brothers, Alvis LeGate of Eureka, Calif., and Edwin McAvoy of Hilo, Hawaii; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private arrangements.
Louis Lionetti
Louis Lionetti, 82, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. He was born Feb. 19, 1920, in the Bronx, N.Y. A resident for 24 years, he was a retired owner of a construction business.
He is survived by his wife, Josephine; one daughter, Lenore Gray of Las Vegas; two sons, Louis Lionetti II of Las Vegas and Steven A. Lionetti of the Bronx; one brother, Rocco Lionetti of Florida; two stepbrothers, John Lionetti of the Bronx and Joseph Lionetti of New York; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today and 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Betty L. McCully
Betty L. McCully, 75, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. She was born Feb. 23, 1927, in New Waterford, Ohio. A resident for 26 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Richard; one daughter, Susan Chapin of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. April 1 in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Arthur E. Moore Jr.
Arthur E. Moore Jr., 61, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 30, 1941, in Chicago. A resident for 23 years, he was a retired Marine Corps master sergeant and Vietnam War veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara ; two sons, Jeffrey A. Moore of Monticello, Ind., and Keith R. Moore of Las Vegas; one daughter, Kim Weaver of Las Vegas; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be noon Thursday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne.
Prentice L. Moreland Jr.
Prentice L. Moreland Jr., 75, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. He was born Nov. 25, 1926, in Shanghai, China. A resident for eight years, he was a retired owner of an office supply business and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Helen E.; one daughter, Debra A. Lilly of Victorville, Calif.; one son, Donald D. Moreland of Fullerton, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Desert Springs United Methodist Church, 109 Dawn Isle. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Lucila T. Moya
Lucila T. Moya, 61, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Henderson. A seamstress, she was born Jan. 7, 1941, in Mexico.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Raul; two sons, Marc Moya of Las Vegas and Mario Moya of Salt Lake City; one daughter, Lucie Melchert of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.
Services and burial will be private. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Sharon Ann Stidham
Sharon Ann Stidham, 42, of Las Vegas died March 13 in Las Vegas. She was born June 17, 1959, in California. A resident for 32 years, she was a hotel cigarette girl.
She is survived by one daughter, Defina Alanillo, and her mother, Cecilia Pesce, both of Las Vegas; her father, Richard G. Pesce of Malibu Beach, Calif.; her stepfather, Frank A. Jay of Torrance, Calif.; one sister, Roxana Jay of Everett, Wash.; one brother, Todd C. Jay of San Diego; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-2 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Havana H. Wardell, 77, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born March 1, 1925, in East St. Louis, Ill. A resident for 14 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Johnson and Donna Elaine Jones, both of Las Vegas; three sisters, Lillie Fickinger of Las Vegas, Ella Mae Hellon of Oakland, Calif., and Bernice Jones of Rancho Cordova, Calif.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Marguerite N. Youngs
Marguerite N. Youngs, 90, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born May 16, 1911, in Harrison County, Ky. A resident for two years, she was retired and a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Walter of Foresthill, Calif.; one son, Donovan Phillips of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
