Art broker, commercial model Hill dies at 40

Martha J. Hill of Las Vegas, a prominent art broker and model, died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was 40.
As an art broker, she represented such artists as Gaylord Sabatini.
She was born Sept. 14, 1961, in Phoenix but grew up in Las Vegas. She began her modeling career at 16 and appeared in many commercials for major hotels, the most recent one for the Golden Nugget.
She is survived by her stepfather and mother, Felix and Aurora Avendano, and one sister, Patricia Ceglio, all of Las Vegas; and two brothers, Paul J. Hill of Henderson and Ramon Avendano of Las Vegas.
Visitation was scheduled 3 to 7 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Bunker Chapel, followed by burial in Eden Vale Memorial Park.
