The Rebels evened their record at 5-5 overall and 4-0 at home this spring. The Golden Eagles fell to 3-5.
The Rebels will host North Carolina State today.
Dennis (10-3) only allowed UNLV (12-16) a base runner twice in the game. Kacey Ellis reached in the second after a misplayed ball by UVa shortstop Heather Field and later led off the fifth inning with an infield single. However, the Cavaliers (20-8) were able to keep the runner pinned at first both times.
