Organization seeks people to volunteer
Down Syndrome Organization of Southern Nevada is looking for community members to serve on the board of directors or help at the office and at various events.
To qualify as a board member -- give three hours a month for meetings and approximately 30 hours per year to work at events and fund-raisers. The DSOSN is also seeking people who are interested in working four hours a week doing data entry, general office help, office cleaning and maintain the grounds.

Faith Lutheran High School
presents its annual fashion show "Lights, Camera ... Fashion" at 2 p.m. Sunday at Texas Station. Students will be modeling fashions from Copeland Sports, Old Navy, Jessica McClintock, and Mens Wearhouse. Tickets are $30. Call 804-4308.
"Futures Expo 2002,"
an event sponsored by the Clark County School District, KVVU Channel 5, KLAS Channel 8, Las Vegas SUN and Nevada Power Co., will be 4-8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Cashman Center, 850 Las Vegas Blvd. North. The event helps teens begin exploring career goals and how to achieve them. All students grades 6-12 and their parents are invited. Admission is free. Call 799-6560.
The Hispanic Health Fair
will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the Las Vegas Rescue Center, 1638 N. Bruce St., featuring free feet screenings, pulse, blood pressure, hearing, vision, height, weight and body-fat checks, screenings for diabetes, and live entertainment. Call 657-5769.
A blood drive continues
7 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday at Verde High School, 333 Pavilion Center Drive. Adults coming to donate will have head of the line privileges. Call 799-1450, Ext 268.
