Vegas gas prices edging up
Wednesday, March 13, 2002 | 11:01 a.m.
The average price of a gallon of regular self-serve gasoline rose 7 cents over the last 30 days to $1.29 in Las Vegas as an annual switchover to summer fuel blends pushes prices up.
AAA Nevada on Tuesday said the price statewide is up 8 cents a gallon to $1.34.
The AAA also said prices are on the rise due to a jump in the price of crude oil over the past few days caused by rising tensions in the Middle East.
