Bonanza 8, Chaparral 7:Billy Osgood went 2-for-4, knocking in the game- winning run in the bottom of seventh, Bobby McMurray went 3-for-3 with four RBIs and freshman pitcher John Berger, who started in the second inning, allowed only one earned run for the Bengal win. Cowboy Eric Stoltz went 2-for-3, with a double, an RBI and two runs.
Foothill 8, Cheyenne 7:Ricky Cerrone went 3-for-4, scoring twice and hitting a double while Josh Daneshforooz had two hits for the Falcons. Jim Klein went 2-for-4, with a double and two RBIs for the Desert Shields.
Centennial 19, Coronado 9:Tim Wheeler went 3-for-3, with three RBIs and three runs, Chris Bonnell went 3-for-4 with three doubles and two runs for the Bulldogs.
Gorman 11, Valley 1:Blake Wilson went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and scored twice, Russ Warthen went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and Daniel Mangiapanione Cameron Brown and Chris Siewert each had doubles for the Gaels.
Silverado 11, Mojave 0: Ryan Castellanos smacked a three-run home run, Jered Ferdinand had a solo home run and Tyler Coon had eight strikeouts in five innings.

SOFTBALL
Rancho 12, Western 2: Rams pitcher McSwain struck out 10 in five innings and went 2-for-3 at the plate. Christina Campa was 2-for-2 with a double for the Warriors.
Bishop Gorman 5, Valley 0: Theresa Liedlich threw a no-hitter, striking out 15 while going 2-for-2 at the plate with a home run, Cassie Burks went 3-for-3 with a triple and another Gael homer. Viking pitcher Sara Leavitt struck out 11.
Bonanza 9, Chaparral 0:Trisha DeSimone threw a 2-hit shutout and struck out 11 for the Bengal victory.
Durango 4, Eldorado 0:Stefanie Fisco had a double and two RBIs and Amy Glicher was 4-for-4 in the Trailblazer win.

Clark def. Mojave 11-15, 15-9, 15-2, 15-0: Michael Chavez had 13 kills with five blocks, Jairo Palma posted 10 kills and Joel Holmes had 32 assists for the Charger win. Nathen Connolly had four kills and Nathan Rex put down five kills with four blocks for the Rattlers.
