Shuffle Master Inc. of Las Vegas on Tuesday named Gerald Koslow its chief financial officer.
Koslow, who was the company's corporate controller, replaces Gary Griffin. Griffin will provide transition assistance to Koslow through June 30, and will continue to serve in a part-time advisory capacity into next year, the company said.
Griffin had been commuting to Las Vegas since 1998, when the company relocated from Minneapolis.
"The company will clearly be better served by having the entire management group based in Las Vegas," Griffin said.
The move came two months after Joe Lahti stepped down as Shuffle Master's chairman, and was replaced by Chief Executive Mark Yoseloff. Lahti also lives in Minnesota and had been commuting to Nevada.
Shuffle Master is a manufacturer of gaming equipment, including card shufflers, proprietary table games and slot machines.
