Maurice Carter scored on a layup at the buzzer Wednesday night, lifting the Kansas City Knights to a 112-111 victory over the Las Vegas Slam in an ABA 2000 pro basketball game at Valley High School.
Cedric Ceballos led Las Vegas (1-12) with 27 points. Carter scored 29 for the first-place Knights (22-5).
