Letter: President had criticism coming

I feel that the attack March 4 by letter writer Douglas M. Bryant on Sen. Harry Reid -- because Reid called President Bush a liar on the Yucca Mountain issue -- was unwarranted.

It is public knowledge that Bush lied to Gov. Kenny Guinn and other Republican leaders about how he would handle his decision on Yucca. That lie played a huge role in how Nevada voters voted. And, alas, Nevada lost the battle about Yucca.

Republicans were not reluctant to criticize when a Democrat, Clinton, was president. But they holler taboo when we have a Republican president.
