The Northwest Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities has several levels of accreditation status. Schools where deficiencies have been found are "approved with comment," meaning a note has been added to the school's file. A second year of uncorrected deficiencies results in "advised" status. Schools with three years of deficiencies are formally "warned" and the fourth year can result in a school being "dropped."
