Volunteers sought for annual cleanup
Lake Mead National Recreation Area seeks volunteers for its third annual Great American Cleanup 9 a.m.-noon Saturday at Boulder Beach.
The Great American Cleanup is an annual, event of Keep America Beautiful Inc., educating individuals about litter prevention.

Henderson Recreation plans Saturday event
The Henderson Parks and Recreation Department will host a spring craft fair 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at Black Mountain Recreation Center, 599 Greenway Road.
The fair will feature a variety of handmade crafts such as woodcrafts, metal, glass, clay/ceramics, decorative fibers and fabrics, and jewelry.

The BEST Coalition
presents "The BEST Race for Safe & Drug-Free Kids" at 3 p.m. Saturday at Las Vegas Motorspeedway. Admission is $10 for four people. Call 385-0684.
Sunstone Theatre
will present the musical "Once upon a Mattress," 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday at the Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road. Proceeds benefit James Seastrand Helping Hands of North Las Vegas, a nonprofit senior assistance organization. Admission is $8; $5 for seniors and children ages 11 and under. Call 499-5768.
