America West Airlines' plans to initiate service to Raleigh-Durham, N.C. are back on track, including a nonstop round-trip flight to and from Las Vegas four times a week.
The Tempe, Ariz.-based airline announced Monday that it would begin late-night service to and from McCarran International Airport beginning May 31. At the same time, America West announced two daily flights between Raleigh-Durham and Phoenix.
Flights will leave Raleigh-Durham Thursday through Sunday at 8:10 p.m., arriving in Las Vegas at 9:49 p.m. The return flight will leave at 11:30 p.m., arriving at 6:43 a.m., the next day.
