Ilse Edith Alioth
Ilse Edith Alioth, 75, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. She was born June 18, 1926, in Germany. A resident for 15 years, she was a retired beautician.
She is survived by her husband, Alphonso; one daughter, Karin Graney of Port Jefferson of Stanton, N.Y.; two sons, Edward R. James of Smithtown, N.Y., and Charles W. James of Indiana, Pa.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, followed by burial in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Michael H. Banks
Michael H. Banks, 45, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 4, 1956, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a car detailer.
He is survived by two sons, Mitrell Edwards of Las Vegas and Demarlo Banks of San Diego; two daughters, Latoya Banks and Latavia Banks, both of San Diego; his father and stepmother, Rev. Charlie and Mable Banks of Monroeville, Ala.; four brothers, Rev. Charlie Banks Jr., and Curtis Banks, both of Las Vegas, and Nathan Banks and Jeffery Banks, both of North Las Vegas; and three sisters, Gwendolyn Banks of North Las Vegas and Delores Watson and Rosella Gore, both of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in New Light Baptist Church, 1165 Lawry Ave., followed by a private burial.
Denny J. Clark
Denny J. Clark, 64, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born April 29, 1937, in State Center, Iowa. A resident for three years, he was a retired hospital administrator and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Diane; one daughter, Danielle Clark of Las Vegas; two sons, Brian Clark of Kansas City, Kan., and Christopher Clark of Longmont, Colo.; one sister, Phyllis Costello of Palm Springs, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Jerry Frank Fisher
Jerry Frank Fisher, 61, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. Born Nov. 12, 1940, in Independence, La., he was a resident for eight years.
He is survived by one sister, Sherry Osborne of Las Vegas.

Mary Ingle
Mary Ingle of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was a retired bookkeeper and a member of Daughters of the Nile.
She is survived by her husband, Jacob; one son, Frank Jakubowski of Idaho Falls, Idaho; one brother, Leslie Gross of Michigan City, Ind.; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Eastern, followed by burial in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Elaine Rodelle Garofalo
Elaine Rodelle Garofalo, 65, of Las Vegas died Feb. 18 in Las Vegas. Born July 28, 1936, in Canada, she was an office worker.
Burial will be in Toronto. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, handled arrangements.
Jose L. Huerta
Jose L. Huerta, 40, of Las Vegas died Feb. 23 in Las Vegas. Born Oct. 6, 1961, in Mexico, he was a waiter.
He is survived by one brother, Reynaldo Huerta of Henderson.
Services will be in Mexico. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, handled arrangements.
Dorothy I. Jackson
Dorothy I. Jackson, 83, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born Nov. 28, 1918, in Pittsburgh. A resident for two months, she was a retired sales person.
She is survived by two daughters, Colleen Steigerwald of Las Vegas and Laurel Schultz of Saftey Harbor, Fla.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Wylene M. Johnson
Wylene M. Johnson, 59, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 20, 1942, in Toomsboro, Ga. A resident for 18 years, she was an investigator for Clark County Child Protective Services for 14 years.
She is survived by one son, Todd Johnson, and one daughter, April Turner, both of Las Vegas; her mother, Thelma Wright; three sisters, Deborah Valley of Las Vegas and Mary Ann Jackson and Carlon Pryor, both of Detroit; his grandfather, Irvin Green; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1-8 p.m. Tuesday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mountaintop Faith Ministries, 2845 Lindell Road, followed by burial in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Linda Ann Klaff, 43, of Las Vegas died Feb. 18 in Las Vegas. Born Aug. 22, 1958, in Chicago, she was a homemaker.

Horace Wayne Majors
Horace Wayne Majors, 90, of Henderson died Friday in a local care center. He was born Sept. 27, 1911, in Oswego, Kan. A resident for seven years, he was a retired sheet metal worker.
He is survived by one daughter, Betty Berry of Henderson; one sister, Leona Bunton of Missouri; two brothers, Carl Majors of Derby, Kan., and Louis Roth of Kansas; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to noon graveside services in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson
Purificacion Moran
Purificacion Moran, 88, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. She was born Feb. 2, 1914, in the Philippines. A resident for 25 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Elmer Moran and Ramonito Moran, and eight daughters, Zenaida Buelva, Flerida Presbitero, Yolanda Estrada, Erlinda Orbina, Minda Presbitero, Nita Racelis, Marilyn Lenon and Mildred Bollozos, all of Las Vegas; 26 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road, followed by burial in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Scott R. Nielsen
Scott R. Nielsen, 35, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born June 18, 1966, in Caldwell, Idaho. A resident for 17 years, he was a repairman for an air conditioning company, an Army veteran and enjoyed skiing, fishing and target shooting.
He is survived by one daughter, Madison Lorentsen of Boise, Idaho; his parents, John R. and Joyce E. Nielsen of Las Vegas; three brothers, Richard Eismann of Augusta, Ga., Stephen Eismann of Orlando, Fla., and Eric Nielsen of San Diego; and five sisters, Karen Briggs of Bandon, Ore., Marta Weis of Virginia, Juditii Szakara of Las Vegas and Lisa Murdock and Kristen Pehrson, both of Idaho Falls, Idaho.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
Sharina Michelle Romero
Sharina Michelle Romero, 34, of Las Vegas died Thursday in California. She was born Oct. 27, 1967, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, she was a self employed violinist.
She is survived by one son, Joshua Romero-Burgan and her mother, Marion Romero, both of Las Vegas; her father and stepmother, Guillermo and Mlitza Romero of Santa Clarita, Calif.; and one sister, Erlinda Romero of Los Angeles.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 2 p.m. services Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., followed by burial in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Sophie Siegman, 91, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. She was born Feb. 27, 1911, in New York City. A resident for 22 years, she was a retired secretary.
She is survived by one daughter, Judy Thorburn, and one son, Martin Siegman, both of Las Vegas.

H. Scott Smith
H. Scott Smith, 36, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 26, 1965, in Santa Maria, Calif. A resident for six years, he was a security department supervisor.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Smith of Las Vegas; and three brothers, David Sheridan Morris of Lompoc, Calif., and Joe Curtis McCallister and Silbern Eugene McCallister, both of El Cajon, Calif.
A private memorial service will be held. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Michael Joseph Sollitto
Michael Joseph Sollitto, 56, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. Born March 12, 1945, in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was a resident for four months.
He is survived by two brothers, Robert Sollitto and William Sollitto, both of Las Vegas; and three sisters, Judy Gerkie of New York, Anne Marie Cloe of Las Vegas and Janet Rose of Georgia.
Visitation is scheduled 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. services with a 6:30 p.m. rosary Tuesday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Burial will be in New York.
Victor a. Vanacore Sr.
Victor A. Vanacore Sr., 83, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. He was born March 26, 1918, in New Haven, Conn. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired tool and die machinist and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria; one daughter, Madelyn Price of Martinsburg, W.Va.; five sons, Victor A. Vanacore Jr., of Grenada Hills, Calif., Paul Vanacore of Lancaster, N.Y., David Vanacore of Valencia, Calif., and Robert Vanacore and Chuck Vanacore, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Anthony Vanacore of North Haven, Conn.; and 14 grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 2 p.m. today in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., handled arrangements.
The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada.
Clara Wohl Waxman
Clara Wohl Waxman, 81, of Henderson died Friday in a local care center. She was born Jan. 6, 1921, in Cleveland. A resident for 13 years, she was a retired bookkeeper.
She is survived by her husband, Louis; one son, Robert Waxman of Las Vegas; one daughter, Reva Sander of Chatsworth, Calif.; and one grandchild.
