Allegiant Air, a Fresno, Calif.-based airline, announced Thursday it signed a deal with Harrah's Entertainment Inc. to provide two weekly charter flights to Reno.
Under terms of the two-year deal, Allegiant will run non-stop charter flights on Boeing MD-87s -- a 130-seat aircraft -- on Thursday and Sunday between Reno and various U.S. cities. Passengers will stay at Harrah's Reno, Harrah's Lake Tahoe or Harveys in Lake Tahoe.
Allegiant already has a similar pact with Harrah's to provide charter flights to Laughlin.
Allegiant provides regularly scheduled daily flights between Reno and Fresno, and also runs flights between Las Vegas and Colorado Springs.
