Margot W. Beuthin

Margot W. Beuthin, 86, of Marietta, Ga., died Tuesday in Marietta. She was born Nov. 29, 1915. A former Las Vegas resident for many years, she was a former purchasing agent for the Las Vegas Convention Center, past president of St. Jude's Auxiliary, a member of the Mesquite Club, a volunteer at Sunrise Hospital and she and her husband were founders of the Christ Church Lobster Fair.

She is survived by two daughters, Julieta D. Gardner and Dixie D. Kurtz; one stepson, William Beuthin; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Christ Episcopal Church, 2100 S. Maryland Parkway.

Reginald Chard

Reginald Chard, 80, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born April 28, 1922, in Nova Scotia. A resident for 23 years, he was a retired truck driver and World War II Coast Guard veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; two daughters, Karen Maxwell of Boulder City and Lyn Chard of Las Vegas; one son, John Chard of Las Vegas; three stepsons, Alfred Daidone of Frankfort, Ill., Philip Daidone of Henderson and Anthony Daidone of Keller, Texas; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Our Savior Lutheran Church, 59 Lynn Lane, Henderson. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Evelyn T. Doptis

Evelyn T. Doptis, 84, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born May 26, 1918, in Pittsburgh. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Charles Doptis and Richard Doptis, and one brother, Nicholas Steffora, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Anne Corba of Pittsburgh; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 5-6:30 p.m. Monday in Christ the King Catholic Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Christ the King Catholic Church. Graveside services will follow at noon Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Walter Dotton

Walter Dotton, 53, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born July 6, 1948, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 12 years, he was a cement mason and a graduate of Adelphi Business College.

He is survived by his wife, Jewel; two sons, Walter Dotton III and Scott Dotton; one daughter, Chames Dotton; three sisters, Denise, Judith and Patricia; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Greater New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 1100 N. D St. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Robert Fain

Robert Fain, 72, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born April 19, 1930, in Providence, R.I. A resident for 20 years, he was a financial consultant and a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Suzanne; three daughters, Diane Anth of Atlanta, Jennifer O'Conner of Fairfield, Conn., and Sherry Ruby of Las Vegas; three sons, Jay Fain of Fairfield, Brian Fain of Monroe, Conn., and Terry Fain of Ansonia, Conn.; one brother, Burton Fain of Providence; and 10 grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Burial will be private.

Carmelo H. Gaglione

Carmelo H. Gaglione, 84, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local health care center. He was born July 1, 1917, in Buffalo, N.Y. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired restaurateur and bar owner.

He is survived by three daughters, Carol Sherman, Diane Woofter and Janet Spano, and one son, Carl Gaglione Jr., all of Las Vegas; one sister, Ceri Botticelli of Buffalo, N.Y.; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Monday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Donald Clyde Horne

Donald Clyde Horne, 90, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in St. George, Utah. He was born June 18, 1912, in Scranton, Pa. A resident for 35 years, he was a self-employed extract manufacturer, a World War II Marine Corps veteran and a member of the American Rifle Association.

He is survived by his wife, Elsa; two daughters, Geraldine Peck and Gwendolyn Wycoff, both of California; two brothers, Stephen Horne of St. George and Raymond Horne of Seattle; one sister, Adeline Young of Las Vegas; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 10 a.m. service Monday in the LDS Viking chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

May F. King

May F. King, 84, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born May 16, 1918, in England. A resident for 12 years, she was a retired clerk in the food industry and a member of the Elks.

She is survived by her husband, Lamont; and one daughter, Denyse Sharp.

Henry Martinez

Henry Martinez, 71, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 21, 1930, in Tinguindin, Mexico. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired masonry worker.

He is survived by his wife, Yolanda; four daughters, Suzy Martinez of Boulder, Colo., Leticia Martinez of Las Vegas and Arselia Martinez and Sandra Martinez, both of California; one son, Marco Enrique Martinez of Las Vegas; five brothers, Jesus Martinez, Manuel Martinez and Salvador Martinez, all of Mexico, and Francisco Martinez and Jose Martinez of Las Vegas; five sisters, Maria Martinez and Angelita Martinez, both of Mexico, and Amalia Martinez, Carmen Martinez and Rosalina Martinez, all of California; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be noon Saturday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Rose McKenna

Rose McKenna, 87, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 6, 1914, in Chicago. A resident for 47 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Montero Meadows Welcoming Committee.

She is survived by one son, Jordan North of Provo, Utah; one sister, Faye Zwerling of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

Ricardo Ramirez Mendoza

Ricardo Ramirez Mendoza, 61, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. A resident for six years, he was born Oct. 22, 1940, in Las Vegas.

He is survived by his wife, Jan Terry; four daughters, Maggie Mendoza and Elizabeth Terry, both of Seattle, Estella Mendoza of Reno and Amber Terry of Las Vegas; one son, Rick Mendoza of San Diego; and five grandchildren.

Neptune Society of Nevada, 8570 Del Webb Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Ron Nielsen

Ron Nielsen, 53, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 9, 1948, in Minnesota. A resident for five years, he was a slot technician.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be Minnesota. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

David Orr

David Orr, 40, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 11, 1962, in Oregon. A resident for 10 years, he was a slot technician.

He is survived by one son, Cole Alann Orr of Las Vegas; his father, Ralph Orr, and one sister, Pam Alley, both of Oregon.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Oregon. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Lucille A. Semola

Lucille A. Semola, 68, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born July 30, 1933, in Philadelphia. A resident for 20 years, she was a retired certified public accountant and chairwoman of the Cousins Club.

She is survived by two sons, Matthew Semola of Cherry Hill, N.J., and Sal Semola of Detroit; one brother, John Franceschini of Irvine, Calif.; her fiance, Robert Nigro; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Elizabeth Sterling

Elizabeth Sterling, 59, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born May 16, 1921, in Mississippi. A resident for 59 years, she was a hotel housekeeper.

She is survived by one brother, Luke Richardson of California; two sisters, Ruth Glover and Flora Cooper, both of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Monday in Greater St. Paul Church of God in Christ, 911 N. G St. Burial will be private. Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive, is handling arrangements.

Mary Conception 'Concha' Strouse

Mary Conception "Concha" Strouse, 99, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 22, 1902, in Aldama, Mexico. A resident for 17 years, she was a domestic worker in private homes.

She is survived by four daughters, Delia Ann Johnson of St. George, Utah, Arlene Johnson of Bowling Green, Ky., Joan Sprinkle of Fayetteville, N.C., and Linda Gomez of Las Vegas; three sons, Marvin Bratz of Las Vegas, Abraham Bratz of San Antonio and William Bratz of Seligman, Ariz.; 26 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation was scheduled 2-5 p.m. today with a 3 p.m. rosary in Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Kingman, Ariz. Burial will be in Kingman.

Toran Tamrazians

Toran Tamrazians, 61, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born March 22, 1941, in Karand, Iran. A resident for 15 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Albert.

Ray P. Telley

Ray P. Telley, 84, of Las Vegas died May 8 in North Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 25, 1918. A resident for many years, he was a veteran.

Graveside services will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Joseph D. Tillman

Joseph D. Tillman, 71, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born Nov. 5, 1930, in Chicago. A resident for eight years, he was a retired security officer and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Bobbie; one daughter, Diane Washington of Chicago; one son, Freddie Tillman of Houston; one sister, Eloise Wiggins of Henderson; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

Philip Karl Turner, 62, of Las Vegas died June 16 in a local hospital. He was born May 19, 1940, in Jonesboro, Ill. A resident for 15 years, he was a bartender and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his companion, Alton Smith.

Thelma Underwood

Thelma Underwood, 84, of Boulder City died Wednesday in Boulder City. She was born Dec. 13, 1917, in Alma, Ark. A resident for 25 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Shepard of Roy, Utah, and Marilyn Campbell of San Jose, Calif.; one son, Charles Underwood of Boulder City; one brother, Carl Austin of Doniphan, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Yvette Monique Valenzuela

Yvette Monique Valenzuela, 35, of North Las Vegas died Monday in North Las Vegas. She was born April 26, 1967, in Phoenix. A resident for 13 years, she was disabled.

She is survived by one son, Michael Perez Jr., and three daughters, Melissa Valenzuela, Stephanie Valenzuela and Regina Valenzuela, and her mother, Virginia Valenzuela, all of North Las Vegas; and one brother, Ronald Valenzuela Jr. of Arizona.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 10 a.m. service Monday in the LDS Nellis Manor Ward. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Lee West

Lee West, 83, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 17, 1918, in Louisiana. A resident for one year, she was a homemaker and a member of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by three daughters, Almelia Swinson of North Las Vegas, Ella B. West of Eudora, Ark., and Pearlean Higgins of Dallas; four sons, Herman West, Morris West and Fred West, all of North Las Vegas, and Eric West of Eudora; 50 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon-8 p.m. Saturday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Louisiana.

Ramond D. White Sr.

Ramond D. White Sr., 38, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 26, 1963, in Las Vegas. A lifetime resident, he was a race and sports book supervisor.

He is survived by his wife, Charmaine E.; two sons, Ramond D. White Jr. and Corey A. White, both of Las Vegas; one daughter, Kaylen Erickson of Minnesota; his father, Billy Roy White of California; his mother, Catherine Kinchen, one brother, Billy White, two sisters, Wanda Hicks and Robin McCall, and his grandfather, Robert Hicks, all of Las Vegas.
