Wendy Macpherson of Henderson finished second Sunday in the Prrofessional Women's Bowling Association's Empire State Classic at Latham, N.Y.
Macpherson, who defeated Michelle Feldman and Kim Terrell in the preliminary rounds, lost the championship match to Leanne Barrette of Pleasanton, Calif., 237-236. Barrette won $10,000, Macpherson $5,500.
