Vegas firm makes Fortune list

Casino supplier Shuffle Master Inc. has been named one of America's fastest growing small companies by Fortune Small Business magazine.

Companies are ranked based on a combination of revenue growth, earnings per share growth and stock returns.

Shuffle Master yielded three-year growth averages of 25.3 percent, 67.4 percent and 77.2 percent in each respective category.

The Las Vegas-based company -- which makes a variety of products including card shufflers, table game equipment, table games and software for gambling machines -- was ranked 32nd in a 2001 Forbes survey of best small companies.
