First, I would like to thank the Las Vegas Sun for all the great articles you have written about the Las Vegas 51s -- not only about our son David Ross, but all the players. It means a lot to be able to read about what's going on with the team and helps us to feel closer to David.
We especially would like to say thanks to Ron Kantowski for the column on David titled "51s' catcher quiets hecklers" (May 28).
We are proud of David for so many things. But this was special to us because this is the side of him that most people never see or write about.
