Eleene M. Adams, 69, of Las Vegas died June 13 in Las Vegas. She was born May 21, 1933, in Ohio. A resident for 2 1/2 years, she was a chef.
She is survived by one son, Kevin Dages; one daughter, Karen Foster; two brothers, Ron Sampsel and David Meyer; two sisters, Marge Hoover and Merrie Mallett; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Noretta V. Amlong
Noretta V. Amlong, 60, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born March 8, 1942, in Glendale, Calif. A resident for 14 years, she was an oil painter.
She is survived by her husband, Earl R.; three sons, Jeff D. Amlong and Terry E. Amlong, both of Santa Clarita, Calif., and Scott B. Amlong of Las Vegas; and one brother, Harold Woodruff of Canoga Park, Calif.

E. Bromberg
Stanley E. Bromberg, 68, of Las Vegas died Tuesday. He was born Dec. 10, 1933, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for four years, he owned and operated Rep House Inc., an electronics company, was a Korean War Army veteran and a member of the Brooklyn College Alumni.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis R.; two daughters, Sharon Schlessinger of Upland, Calif., and Marisa Blaz of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; three sons, Mark Blaz of San Dimas, Calif., David Bromberg of Owings Mills, Md., and Benjamin Blaz of Las Vegas; one brother, Rabbi Kenneth Bromberg of Clearwater, Fla.; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be 9 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 5701 N. Jones Blvd.

Brown
Raymond Paul Brown, 47, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. A resident for 45 years, he was born Aug. 28, 1954, in Winnemucca.
He is survived by one daughter, Alisha Smith, his mother, Barbara Peck, and one brother, Charles Brown, all of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Lori Lynn Cope, 45, of Boulder City died Tuesday in Henderson. A resident for 10 years, she was born Dec. 18, 1956, in California.
She is survived by her mother, Marcia Kirschner of Boulder City; and one sister, Cherine Cope of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 2-4 p.m. today in Hites Funeral Home, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Graveside services will be Friday in Boulder City Cemetery, 501 Adams Blvd.
Lavinia W. Gardner
Lavinia W. Gardner, 93, of Henderson died Tuesday in Boulder City. She was born Oct. 10, 1908, in Nevada. A resident for 47 years, she was a homemaker, a member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers, and a missionary for the LDS Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Valorie Davis of Henderson; one son, Rulon Barry Gardner of Las Vegas; three sisters, Katherine Mills of Overton and Margaret Jensen and Marylou Schmutz, both of St. George, Utah; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in the Ocean Street LDS Ward. Burial will follow in Logandale Cemetery. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Thomas Andrew Groce, 57, of Las Vegas died Friday in Lovelock. He was born Feb. 11, 1945, in St. Louis. A resident for 10 years, he was a psychological counselor for the State Department and a graduate of California State University with a bachelor of science degree in psychology.
He is survived by three sons, Thomas Anthony Groce of Monterey, Calif., Solomon Groce of Pasadena, Calif., and Anthony DeShaun Groce of Las Vegas; five sisters, Lonnie Lee Marshall and Sandra Marie Horner, both of Las Vegas, Emily France of Fremont, Calif., and Maxine Hammond and Mignon Groce, both of Los Angeles; and one brother, David Charles Groce of Long Beach, Calif.
Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Garnet Hord, 50, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 3, 1952, in California. A resident for 33 years, she was a telemarketer.
She is survived by two sons, Nicholas Humphrey of Las Vegas and Dino Hord; one daughter, Brandi Hurd, her mother, Shirley Thompson, and one sister, Rhonda Davis, all of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 8:30-10 a.m. Monday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Solomon Jacobson
Solomon Jacobson, 68, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born July 8, 1933, in New York City. A resident for nine years, he was a paint store owner and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; two daughters, Linda Jacobson of California and Lisa Jacobson of Las Vegas; and one grandson.
Graveside services were 1 p.m. today in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road. Burial followed in Memory Gardens.

James Lee King
James Lee King, 42, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born June 5, 1960, in Cheyenne, Wyo. A resident for 41 years, he was a vehicle service agent for a rent-a-car company and a member of Teamsters Union Local 995.
He is survived by his wife, Valinda; one daughter, Shannen King, two sons, James King and Michael King, and his mother, Juanita King, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Debbie Packard of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Tami Clements of Las Vegas; and two brothers, Tommy King of Fayetteville, N.C., and Shane King of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Eastern.

Leonard Lavallee, 52, of Las Vegas died April 12 in Las Vegas. A homemaker, he was born May 18, 1949.

Donald W. Lindemann, 89, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 17, 1912, in Lincoln, Neb. A resident for eight years, he was a retired government finance officer, a 32nd degree Mason, a Rotarian, an El Zariba Shrine in Phoenix and Scottish Rites in Phoenix and a member of Al Kadar Shrine in Portland, Ore.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine; one son, Dennis C. Lindemann of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; one daughter, Arlene L. Bennett of LaPine, Ore.; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Nelson L. Loudin
Nelson L. Loudin, 83, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. He was born April 25, 1910, in Adolph, W.Va. A resident for 57 years, he was a retired automotive mechanic and a World War II Air Force veteran.
He is survived by three sons, Richard and Russ, both of Las Vegas and Rob of Mount Charleston; one sister, Ava Hughes of Lexington, Va.; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Monday in Hallelujah Christian Fellowship, 3630 N. Rancho Drive. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Richard Lowry, 42, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 20, 1959, in Florida. A resident for 2 1/2 years, he was an operations manager for a carpet company and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline; and one sister, Jacqueline.

Betty M. Michaels
Betty M. Michaels, 76, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 3, 1925, in St. Paul, Minnesota. A resident for 28 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Steven M.; one daughter, Barbara Belihar of Woodland Hills, Calif.; and two sisters, Lois Gonick and Denise Klene, both of Las Vegas.
A memorial service will be 12:30 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Teresa Nilson, 77, of Pahrump died Saturday in Las Vegas. A homemaker, she was born April 15, 1925, in Oregon.
She is survived by one grandson, Greg Nilson of Pahrump.

Carol Nishnic, 66, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 18, 1935, in Cleveland. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald.

Jean Panza, 78, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 23, 1923, in Kenlock, Pa. A resident for six years, she was a retired assembler for an automobile manufacturer.
She is survived by her husband, Peter J.; one daughter, Mary A. Havill of Henderson; one son, Peter A. Panza of Utica, Mich.; and one grandchild.
Burial will be in Pittsburgh. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Annie "Vera" Peters, 89, of Henderson died Sunday in a local care center. She was born May 24, 1913, in London. A resident for 30 years, she was a retired health spa attendant.
She is survived by one daughter, Sylvia Harris of Henderson; three sons, David Peters of Las Vegas, Terry Peters of London and Brian Peters of Bedford, England; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Robert Harvey "Bob" Reed, 87, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 8, 1914, in Cleveland. A resident for 68 years, he was a miner, refrigeration and air conditioning firm employee and was a cubmaster for the Boy Scouts.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Stella; two daughters, Bobbie Sue Poole and JoAnn Chapman, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Jim Weaver of Oak Harbor, Wash.; five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Sunday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 5 p.m. Monday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will be private.

Kenneth W. Remen, 79, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local health care center. He was born June 19, 1923, in LaCrosse, Wis. A resident for 24 years, he was a retired animal control officer for the city, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Las Vegas American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Clorinda; one son, Gregory Remen of LaCrosse; two daughters, Linda Wetterlin of LaCrescent, Minn., and Deborah Whitewater of Las Vegas; one brother, Earl Remen of Florida; two sisters, Dolores Dacey and Marilyn Brockman, both of LaCrosse; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Florence Shapiro, 73, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 28, 1929, in Lockport, N.Y. A resident for six years, she was a homemaker, a member of Sun City social clubs and former chapter president of the National Asthma Center.
She is survived by her husband, Sy; two sons, Marc Shapiro and Rob Shapiro, both of Newbury Park, Calif.; one sister, Sheila Berghash of Rochester, N.Y.; one brother, Sydney Sharp of Boynton Beach, Fla.; and five grandchildren.
Services were noon today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Graveside services were 2:40 p.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

She is survived by one son, Merrill of Utah; two daughters, Marie of Las Vegas and Gentry of Utah; three brothers, Mark and Louis, both of Pennsylvania and Joe of South Carolina; and five grandchildren.

Charlotte A. Urban, 89, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born June 10, 1913, in Garfield, N.J. A resident for one year, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Carol Van Der Linda of Las Vegas; one son, Ronald Miske of Seminole, Fla.; one stepdaughter, Ruth Viera of Napa, Calif.; one stepson, Frank Urban III of Wayne, N.J.; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Services will be in Seminole, Fla. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
