Following is a synopsis of the plays and the play schedule at the Utah Shakespearean Festival starting Thursday in Cedar City, Utah, a three-hour drive from Las Vegas northeast on Interstate 15:
"Hay Fever," by Noel Coward, performed at 2 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in the Randall L. Jones Theatre. A luminous and hilarious comedy introducing the Bliss family for whom all the world is literally a stage.
"As You Like It," by William Shakespeare, performed at 8 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays in the Adams Memorial Theatre and 2 p.m. Saturdays in the Auditorium Theatre.
"Harvey," by Mary Chase, performed at 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays in the Randall Jones Theatre and at 2 p.m. Thursdays in the Auditorium Theater. A comedy starring a giant -- and invisible -- 7-foot rabbit.
"Cymbeline," by William Shakespeare, performed at 8 p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays in the Adams Theatre. Written near the end of Shakespeare's life, the play is a tale of love, fantasy and reconciliation.
