Letter: United States not Christian

Excuse me, but how could anyone not understand them? Isn't that the religion that controls the Republican Party and keeps shoving their morals down our throats whether we want them or not?

It doesn't matter how many people or foreign nations think we are a Christian nation. We aren't. America is a nation of many races, creeds and religions.

To be fair and to guarantee freedom for all, our government may not show favoritism to any one religion. Therefore, our government and schools must remain secular. Most people who are not religious fanatics understand that. I'm not sure Boggs McDonald does, so she won't get my vote.
