Letter: RTC must start fining ATC

When will the Regional Transportation Commission get off its bureaucratic butt and start fining ATC for late bus runs and cancelled routes? The trip from the Social Security Administration office on Sahara and Lindell to my home in Summerlin last Friday took almost four hours!

I waited an hour-and-a-half for the 204 Sahara bus westbound, over an hour for the 101 Rainbow bus northbound and almost an hour for the 210 Lake Mead Bus westbound. That's almost four hours to travel about 14 miles, normally a 20-minute drive.

Do any of the RTC commissioners or senior management ever actually ride the CAT buses? I doubt it.
