Letter: Homeless need to get a job

I am tired of constantly hearing about the sad state of the homeless. If the vast majority of taxpayers hadn't worked hard and skimped and saved to buy a house and take care of themselves, we'd be homeless, too.

We finally were able to start buying a house and now we face higher taxes to support the people who won't work, won't do anything to support themselves. What all the able-bodied need is a job, and let them work and support themselves.

As far as I'm concerned, if any that are capable of working choose not to, then let them starve, but get off the back of the taxpayers.
