Six New York City firefighters will join Clark County firefighters Saturday in a benefit to help raise money for a local burn foundation.
The Sept. 11 heroes are in town for the second annual Festival of Fire to raise money for the Clark County Firefighters Burn Foundation.
The festival runs from 2-6 p.m. Saturday at the Texas Station ballroom and includes food and entertainment. Among those scheduled to appear are Strip entertainers Bill Acosta and Steve Wyrick.
Each year the foundation sends local kids to burn camp and gives money to fire victims to pay for furniture, clothing and funerals.
Tickets to the Festival of Fire can be purchased by contacting the Texas Station box office or accessing Tickets.com on the Internet.
